2nd week in a row we directed absolutely ****ing nothing to their advantage. We just keep hoping they'll jag a mark when we bomb it in. Oppo gives us zero space inside 50 and our forwards all sit absolutely static and don't work to make any.

Keane’s poor defensive performance is underrated. His man Gunston their only threatening forward due to how much space Keane gave him or stupid free kicks he gave away. Newcombes match winner all because Keane wasn’t marking Gunston left by himself front of the stoppage. Even Keane playing too far off Gunston for the relieving mark on the wing with 90 seconds to go. Not good enough and undoes all the defensive work Worrell, Max and Butts are doing

Murphy with his 11 touch no score game as a half forward..6 tackles was decent and saves his performance for completely fitting in the same game every game box we have seen for years

If we insist on playing Tex/Fog/Thilthorpe, Thilthy should be the one up the ground. Traditional CHF

His has both marking and ground ball strengths.

Can't believe how much of a fumbler ANB is. He continually loses his feet as well. His game against Sydney was good but I think he's been average in the past 5-6 games.

How effective Tex is hinges entirely on how well our other talls perform. That just can’t be enough to justify a spot in these conditions.

It's the extra man that is created when we don't have the ball that is the biggest issue with Tex. Players just run off him. A finals game will be worse.

Tex won't accept playing SANFL lightly and he wants 300 games so Nicks is going to have to be strong enough to make the call.

Aside from our forward entries, one of our biggest problems tonight is that our most talented player is struggling to have any impact (Rankine). He's been fumbly and had low impact with his disposals for most of the year.

He gets a few nice touches and everyone goes crazy. Doesn't produce as high as his reputation imo

Bad: Night football in winter in Tasmania. Anyone objecting to the roof being a requirement for the new Tassie team should be forced to watch a full replay of this game.
