I would give Max another week forward and make the following changes;

In - Taylor. Out - Murphy

In - Edwards. Out - Smith

A tough call on Brodie but we know what he offers and he can slip in seamlessly if required later this year. He may also be suffering some fatigue after his 5 cm growth burst this year.

As for pointing out we are sitting 3rd, have you seen our team and lack of injuries? We are stacked with talent now, I was going to say I could coach them to finals but that would be too obviously correct, even Slippery Pete could coach this team to finals

Roo had an actual quad injury from memory, Tex just looks worn down and needs more than a single week freshen up. I thought he started pretty well against the Tigers in terms of his movement, but he wore down pretty quickly. I wonder whether looking back he’d prefer to be carried to 300 like Fireman Cornes or finish his career contributing in Finals with a properly earned 290 odd next to his name.
