At the time, it was forecast that the max crowd would be 30,000.Collingwood's member allocation was exhausted in less than 10 minutes, there will be no General Public tickets.

Didn't St Kilda get allocated 2000 tickets when we played them?
Anyone know when members can get tickets it says 1pm but nothing
Still nothing on the club 13 tickets.
They held back tickets IMO, no way were 14k tickets sold in 30 minutes for a 4:10pm sunday game after two pathetic performances in the previous two weeks. I reckon they released barely 1000 yesterday.I spoke to the club, they are still working it out right now meaning those successful in the ballot. Should get an email by tonight (latest tomorrow morning) but they did say they are trying for tonight to let all know.
Tomorrow at 10 am is on sale for tiger general admission members plus roaming tiger members.

I’ll get home at 9.30pm.They did not hold anything back. I should clarify more than half of these 14K would've been allocated to members who went in the ballot.
The Remaining went on sale for RFC GA and roaming tiger members...So all available tickets were taken up.
AFL and MCC also gone (5K each). Pies allocation of 500-1000 also taken up.
Now from this 15k extra, at a guess 8K will go to Richmond club members. Ballot members will get first crack if they had entered the ballot already but missed out in the firts shot (like my niece and her friends), then tomorrow from 10am, Richmond GA and roaming tiger members get their chance once again.
AFL and MCC reserve get about 3K each, pies away members get about 500 to 1000 (membership dept did say to me that they will give the bare min to pies which is 500 tkts).
The club has given us so much joy the past 4 years with 3 flags, so 2 bad games and a 4.10pm start you think everyone is going to drop off, maybe the bandwagoners but out of 85K+ members in Vic, i have no doubt we will get min 35k to the game from 40K allowed. You will never get exactly 40K as some on the day may not go due to circumstances even though tickets were allocated to that person.
4.10pm isn't ideal but geez we cant complain about fixturing we normally get a good run. I've seen comments about school the next day, the game is over by 6.45pm, I have kids who will have school the next day, we'll all be there. Too many snowflakes just make up excuses as to why they shouldn't go.
So where was everyone vs GWS, St Kilda and Gold Coast. They did not hold anything back. I should clarify more than half of these 14K would've been allocated to members who went in the ballot.

As for going to this one i'm out, gave my barcode to my daughters friend to use if they can snag a ticket tomorrow. Might even give next week a miss also as i'm just tired of the ticketek bullshit TBH.
Actually might even check out from the rest of the year, the football experience is just ruined with...............
1. Your not allowed to stand here
2. Go back to your allocated seating area
3. scan this scan that
At home i can stand if i want too, sit where i want too and don't need to scan sh*t.
I’ll get home at 9.30pm.
suits me fine. Better than 1am for a night game.
****in hate that. I’m standing next to the bins drinking a beer and there’s no one around. Two security guards come over and say you can’t stand here, it’s for your own safety. You can only eat and drink in your seat, surrounded by people. Makes no ****in sense1. Your not allowed to stand here
Thing is i haven't really enjoyed myself this year, i'm hardcore standing room and though i have put up with sitting this year i just about done and with the government drip feeding increased attendances i just can't be bothered anymore.I hear ya but your daughters going in your place so there's one to add to the attendance.
Jacks 300th game next Friday night, hope you can make it.
It is crap but it is what it is and it's not only our club affected. People around the world are doing it tougher than us, I agree there is an inconvenience in getting tickets etc but it's a small price to pay to see our beloved Tiges.
Tiges V saints (25K capacity) all sold, like pies v saints all sold but on the day people don't roll up. For us, there was 15k it was wet and 8 degrees, Pies same thing 18K during the afternoon.
GWS it's marvel I was there but don't hold anything against people who skip that joint. We only play one game there as a home game so not fussed.
GC for starters only a select amount of seats on sale for members, (behind goals and some on the wing), secondly tickets only went on sale 9 hrs prior to the game starting, work the next day. Dummies like Kane Cornes can't comprehend simple logic, geez i would love to go head to head with him about crowds.
Can't compare apples and oranges, buy hey thats cornes for you.
Just for comparison:
Pies V Freo, a pies home game at marvel only pulls 11K on a sunny day weekend.
Blues V Freo only 12K at the G, the G has MCC and AFL members to help with a higher crowd as they get free access.
Ess V Dees they said all sold but only 19K turned up at the G
One of the reasons why I won’t go to away games this year is no standing room.fu**in hate that. I’m standing next to the bins drinking a beer and there’s no one around. Had that last week, over zealous old bat getting in my face at half time while i quietly sipped my beer all on my own checking out the stats on the televisions. Gave her an earful and as usual they jump on their little walkie talkie and complain and as usual nothing happens.fu**in hate that.
