Probably, didn't really work out last time though with Tex picking up 4 goals. I can't say I'm worried what Mac does in this game, Gold Coast are middle of the road when it comes to a transition game and we are a lot better defensively then the last time we met.

I call it as I see it. And because I take much more interest in us, I see more decisions to criticise. But if you want to cheer on the likes of Birdbrain because he’s being paid by the club, go your hardest. We’ve been just magnificent over the last 7 or so years.
I reckon he’s not seen as being a viable replacement for a small forward spot and there’s not anything else on offer. Shame, looked like he belonged last year.

Height isn't the deciding factor. We've only ever used Dowling on the wing or inside midfield, which means they're the only spots we see him as a viable option.

There’s a bit more to it than height. Cook is a forward and brings some dynamism, Dowling more a tall mid type. I’d give him a go, but I don’t think he’s in that queue.

Only role I think Dowling plays AFL is either wing/outside mid or perhaps in a Tom Lynch high half forward role because he does have excellent endurance, contested game is not strong enough IMO to play inside mid.

I think it's more likely Berry/Soligo gets the job on Rowell and Dawson on Anderson.

Also, could switch Taylor to sub for Pedlar starting.
