I was a bit worried about Duman's size but I had a look at the weights of McDonald Tipungwuti, Josh Green and guys like Devon Smith and he is about the same weight albeit usually a lot taller. If you ask yourself who on our list is a defender with skills I find myself going Wilson, Ryan and then Duman. Would be great if he came on.

Then I recon out go D. Pearce and Sutty but who else? Hopefully not Banfield.

Kersten will be another I think, I initially thought the fourth would be Ballas... but I'm not confident. It's quite hard to foresee what the club are planning at the moment.

Due to the gap in ages of our squad, I really don't understand why players like Nyhius, Grey, Duman,
are not considered.
Why are they on the list then? We have seen enough of D Pearce, Sutty, Sherro, to know what they bring.
These guys are in that 19-24 year bracket, done several preseasons, and know the system.
Grey is that hard nut, tagger missing, Nyhius the lock down defender missing, Duman speedy utility with
height and run.
I like that we are bringing in the youth, but you need a few unsociable characters in footy, it is still a
contact sport?

I think Grey in particular is looking likely for delisting. The fact he is as old as he is and isn't even remotely in selection discussions says a lot. Same with Sheridan.
Duman seems to be getting close to a debut, and I have no idea what will happen to Nyhuis.

And the Rising Star Nomination. And two Brownlow votes (letting the captain rack up three to start his run)...

Rnd23 last year against Essendon. He spudded it up so hard in the forward line he got swapped with Collins who was also spudding it up in the backline. Neither line improved. He is not a defender.
