Honestly I'd have rather not seen Crowden and give Tucker more of a chance in the middle. I thought Tucker was really good in pre-season. Very rough to drop a young player we play out of position (too much HB imo) after one game that the entire team performed terrible in (even if he was a bit lost). In a rebuild you've got to back the youngsters not throw them out after a single game.

I thought it was pretty clear from my post.

We dropped a tall for a small so we're going into this game with Taberner and McCarthy as our only talls, and Taberner will be spending a fair bit of time in the ruck. And we'll get to enjoy him being outnumbered 2 vs 1 whenever he's forward.

I might be the only one on this website that doesn’t really rate Tucker, I mean yes he’s decent probably our best 22 (which isn’t hard at our club atm), but I feel like the circle jerk for him is a tad to much imo, I wasnt surprised he was dropped unlike most of use :/
