Too many nothing players. Our so called better players like Ridley (always injured), Redman have joined this group.

D Defence first. Fix the back six. We need another big guy. We need two medium/smalls that can run and kick and setup the play. Our kicking and penetration from behind is the worst in the league.

Redman ? Sign huge contract, fall off cliff.

Are they better though? I have question marks over Jones, Prior, Sheil, Reid, Hobbs, Tsatas, Perkins, Gresham and Menzies. There's probably others I've missed as well.

Being consistent is just as important as ability, and our players don't have that. They tease us with glimpses but don't deliver often enough. At least not enough of them do.

I'm now into my 70s and reached this conclusion several seasons past. Now reaching the point don't think I 'll see us play finals again, let alone win one. And btw, I'm still in good health for my age, so more worried about EFC than my longevity.

I'd suggest that the teasing glimpses we see is the natural talent and the brain fades are the result of poor coaching that has failed to instill confidence, belief and effort in the team. What we see too often is individual effort and endeavour - today that was Zach, Kako, Edwards. Durham.

Remember when Langford jogged past the live ball on his way to the boundary? That sort of dysfunctional behaviour is not of a player who doesn't care - it's a player who's so confused by what's being asked of him that he misses the obvious

And there is a scenario where he is back if board overthrown and Hird returns. It's the stuff of nightmares and why I was hoping the current regime does well so we at least have Rosa for a while to build a proper list and Dodo totally fades away to leave us alone. I just don't see this turning around fast like say Hawks last year as our guys still don't know where to run and the opposition have spares everywhere.

As with most professional sports - people far, FAR too willing to stick the boot into coaches than players that dole up the same piss weak performances week in week out. What an absolute basket case of a club we are,with a list chock full of plodders with pea hearts

Yeah not really, there was nothing I saw today I haven't seen repeatedly over recent seasons.

We have not been able adapt for the last 20 years.
My first gripe is Brad Scott makes very few changes.
Zach Reid was being decimated. Why not move him forward and make jones go back.
See what you can learn.
McGrath and sheil are not at the level at half back.
Reid and Prior are both too slow and lack physicality.
Hobbs does not have an afl position.
Jones is not a wingman. Caleb Windsor is the type of winger you need to cultivate and recruit.
Perkins doesn’t do enough but was good last week.
The errors of dodoro are really hitting home.

You are correct but they were in a gf and then rebuilt.
