Think today was a coaching/selection failure as much as anything. Players devoid of confidence never execute well.
The players that were selected looked lost out there. They're better that that performance.Really? What other players could we have chosen? Aside from a handful of players I just don't think we have enough that are AFL level.

At this point, I want Merrett to leave. Not for our benefit but because he deserves to win a final and not be anchored to this ****ing shit club.
Well put it this way. I'm 43. I'm now convinced I will never see another Essendon flag in my life timeMost disappointing is other clubs figuring it out. Adelaide where bottom 4 last year...How long are we going to be stuck in the mud?
Imagine what Geelong in season proper will do to that output2 games in to the season and it already feels like we are a lost cause.
List management still not ruthless enough
Last week felt like a belting. This week felt right. What a joke of a club.Well Hawthorn aren’t as good as everyone thinks, only beat us by 26 points.
A lot of teams now and our club has lost its soul.Well put it this way. I'm 43. I'm now convinced I will never see another Essendon flag in my life time
