The complaints against ROB are a bit much I think.

A couple of dumb errors by foot in open play, but that's not a surprise.

What is a surprise is how good his hitouts to advantage have been the last couple of weeks. He's absolutely feeding the ball into good positions - Crouch is especially benefitting from this.

Save yourself the effort in educating idiots.

All our traditional whipping boys are either delisted (McHenry) dropped (Murphy/Jones/Smith) or turned a corner (Sholl, Keays)

ROB is everyone's last grasp. Even if he is above average in the ruck, and below average around the ground. Remains an easy target when he makes some howlers which he still does.

Rather than people admit they're wrong, they'd rather whip the one target they have left (Though, Keane is starting to go down this path as well, becoming a new victim)

How crook was the commentary when Durham dumped Soligo after the tackle had knocked the ball free? Talking about it like it was a brilliant moment when, realistically, it should have been a free kick against.

"Met solidly by Durham who is trying to lift his side!"
"He is having a crack. Durham is having a red hot crack!"
"He is not putting up with it, just needs some teammates to get on board!"

(Kako then kicks the goal)

"Go back to Sam Durham and his effort to force the turnover!"
"That Durham tackle in the middle, he wanted it to be physical, and he carried on with it!"
"And then THIS from Durham!"

(Slow motion replay shows Durham's tackle knocking the ball away from Soligo, and then in a completely separate action grabbing Soligo with his free arm and driving him face-first into the ground)

"And the umpire puts the whistle to his mouth because he sees... he's about to ping him for carrying on with the tackle for too long, but he put the whistle away and that allowed the ball to go forward!"


Steady on guys, he was a poor landing away from getting a three match suspension.

No maybe's about it, as 16/17 year old Brad was consided to be in the 2 best talents in the entirety of Australia, ultimately only Jaeger O'Meara was selected before him in the 2012 mini-draft. Brad was an absolute jet before injuries cruelled both him and Jaeger O'Meara, so much so that he was being compared to Patrick Dangerfield game style wise.
Absolutely tore up the SANFL for West Adelaide as a 17 year old before he was even allowed to play for the Crows.

I dont think those in Adelaide really know how lucky we are with the prices of beer.

What I've learnt from the last 3 away games.

Perth - Cost of a 15oz in Perth is the same cost as a 20oz in Adelaide.
Hobart - The cost of a 12.5oz mid strength in Hobart is the same as a 15oz full strength in Adelaide.
MCG - When you look at the largest size full strength beer you can buy on a $z ratio, MCG is 14% more expensive than Adelaide ($12 for 15oz in MCG, $14 for 20oz at AO)

Our forward line is looking elite. It helps that the ball movement is so fast and the kicking is at times flawless.

The difference between Dawson, Rankine and Soligo delivering it versus Laird, Crouch, Berry and Schoenberg.

Yes Matt has been excellent this season he's finally surrounded by the correct balance of midfielders so he can flourish doing what he does best.

We have a framed signed Matt Crouch photo on our mantle piece at home because Matt is my husband's favourite player.

That was probably my only disappointment out of the game (Keane errors aside) was I would like to see more reaction when oppos target our players physically. The Soligo hit - which should have been a free kick as he got dumped without the ball - and Draper hit which happened purely because he was a young player in my view

Would like to see a physical response from some of our leaders - a bit more protection. Same with when Thilthorpe got cracked a couple times after marks. We need some mongrel

The Caldwell charge on Draper was filthy, Draper was open disposing of the ball and Caldwell hit him for maximum impact.

What was more frustrating with that ROB free kick against him, is that Milera should have been awarded the mark in the first place, immediately before this.

The play on call was wrong and its what led directly to a ball up in the goal square.

Umpiring was generally hopeless, essendon got a great run
