I will be surprised if he isn’t given more opportunities during August.

We seem to be auditioning players for the last 3-4 spots in our 23. It looks like a wet, windy, shitty night so probably fair to get Cooky to have a run in the twos. If Hinge isn’t 100% then Cooky can be a late in.

I think we want to keep Cumming on the wing rather than move him to halfback and play Chayce on the wing.

We have another 6 daybreak (naturally Hawthorn have 8 days) so we might need some different soldiers next week.
I reckon the team is pretty close to “the team” and continuity heading into September is being prioritised. Especially with good form of late.

Don’t seem to be auditioning Edwards, Draper, Nankervis or Dowling at all.

IMO only injuries to really force big changes from here.

Would’ve been perfect week to rest Hinge and bring in Edwards (or even Smith) but we’re backing in the boys.

Hinge in! Unchanged
He better be 100%... because it's silly taking risks for this game when finals are not too far away... & we have plenty of replacement options.

Even if, the single biggest problem Bond faces is Michalanny is the magnet in front of him.

Effectively there is nothing Bond can do whilst Max is our go to match up against their best small.

the nature of being on an AFL list is that you could find yourself pigeon holed into a position behind favoured players. Bond may need to seek opportunities elsewhere as Ryan is probably going to overtake him too if not already.

Jesus, what an insult
They have a few Murphs... like Carlton tonight.

One reason why we have improved this year, is we rarely carrying weak links.

Likely, but not definitive.
If we win out we finish on 18 wins, Brisbane could also win out which leaves us in second.
However, winning out would ensure a top two finish since Brisbane play Collingwood next weekend. We would then finish ahead of the loser of that game. If it is a drawn game we beat Collingwood on points and Brisbane on %.

Top two is all I care about - gives us two home finals.
We catch Collingwood ourselves by beating them at home . Totally in our control. We win out then we almost certainly finish top

Gonna be full on public transport and CBD carparks.

Wonder how this will affect the crowd numbers.
A lot of disabled parking people might skip

I know the person I am going with has a disabled permit and we are trying to discuss options - but end of day it still involves crossing the footbridge

That sucks TBH, there needs to be some better options.

Granted this sort of weather doesn't come around overly often but the plans should still be in place.

Park on the edge of the city and catch an Uber to the tennis centre on War Memorial Drive
