Interesting. Cook definitely playing wing then, and if Hinge doesn't get up it would be Smith for him.

Don't mind it, though Cumming is certainly a loss. Hopefully it's just a niggle and he'll be back next week.

Cumming officially out with leg soreness, Cook in

Sounds like he's practically being rested, which against a poor team like Port Adelaide makes sense

Yeah don’t mind this

Hinge must be very much fine if they don’t think he needs a rest, but Cumming does

Given Cumming's history of struggling to stay on the park, this seems like a wise move.

And this is the incredibly difficult part of coaching any squad. Knowing when to blood players and when to pick the best team available. I was very critical of the way Curtin was being managed, but that has come good. Right now we have a lot to lose by dropping a game. We are on the verge of finishing top 4. Although there’s no guarantees either way, if you had the option of winning our last games or blooding players for next year. What are you choosing?
Agreed. That is why you do this earlier in the year against opposition you know you can handle with one "newbie" added to the squad. We seem to be forced into changes rather than plan changes.

That sucks TBH, there needs to be some better options.

Granted this sort of weather doesn't come around overly often but the plans should still be in place.
You would think there can't be that many disabled people that the stadium can't manage a parking solution for them in some way, as opposed to the general public.

Smart decision to give Cumming a rest, and also to give Cook another chance to show he can rise in a pressure game.

He is exactly the kind of player to have a once-off blinder against Port and end up playing the best match of his career, haha.
Brodie Martin come on down.
