I thought jones looked hungry and hard at it. Not a heap of the footy but he isn’t going to die wondering and leave anything out there.

He’s the classic fringe player, not only playing for his career but that last 1-2 spots in a contender, who should keep that intense edge in our side

(whether it’s him or others, there’s genuine chances there for a fringe player to grab a chance at greatness)

Which he isn't. Six years in.

Couldn't win the ball in the middle. You can't be a pure stopper with no offensive game at this level.


Was ok when playing wing.


He is a good sub candidate though and could be usefull stopping midfield momentum. If Berry needs a rest.


He is never going to be a genuine best 22 player for us. And certainly not an AFL quality mid.



Will be good for Tassie though as a cheap AFL experienced player.

I think he’s a good sub option as he can play through all the middle or backline.

At one stage yesterday we tried all smalls, Tex fog and Thilthorpe were off the ground with Rankine the only one deep.
