Both out of contract, along with Bond, Gallagher, Strachan, Taylor, Smith, Burgess, Crouch and Tex I thinkSchoenberg must also be on shaky ground .....that said I'm not sure of the contractural status of Murphy and Schoenberg
Oh, this is just the best and I'm two minutes in, Timmy is shellshocked
Some tough calls to be made at the end of year. Both out of contract, along with Bond, Gallagher, Strachan, Taylor, Smith, Burgess, Crouch and Tex I think
Schoenberg is definitely the easiest delist - even ahead of Murphy, Burgess and Smith (none of whom should be offered a new contract).Schoenberg must also be on shaky ground .....that said I'm not sure of the contractural status of Murphy and Schoenberg
It was Ricciuto making a joking reference to Laird being grumpy (a well-known joke around the club), and a suggestion that a new relationship and new puppy might have "cheered him up".The commentary mentioned that last year Laird was the grumpiest guy ever but now has cheered up. He threw a tantrum for getting moved back but has been contributing much more to the team since doing so.
Any/all teams coached by Alastair Clarkson & Damien Hardwick? OK... not all thugs, but they certainly had more than their fair share of players who indulged in "unsociable football".So apparently Carr is going to recruit a bunch of mongrels to dig Port out of the hole they're in. Why do Port people always default to this mindset? They're cavemen stuck in the dark ages of footy. Are any of the top teams in the AFL right now that have made their list out of a bunch of thugs?
Other than SPP thereās not really any snipers out there anymore who actively go out and hurt people? So not sure who theyāre looking atSo apparently Carr is going to recruit a bunch of mongrels to dig Port out of the hole they're in. Why do Port people always default to this mindset? You can't play that way these days. You'll spend half the year suspended.Other than SPP thereās not really any snipers out there anymore who actively go out and hurt people? So not sure who theyāre looking at

And Neal Bullen loved it as well 12 tackles and watch him for minute after he kicked that first goal. Absolutely pumpedIsn't it nice having some genuinely elite talents who you just know love smashing Port and who continuously turn up for it in Thilthorpe and Rankine?
You can just tell it means something extra to them.
Nice to have locals. Can't wait to add Draper to the mix.
I think thatās correct. Both out of contract, along with Bond, Gallagher, Strachan, Taylor, Smith, Burgess, Crouch and Tex I think
Not sure many would have assumed we could be in such a rich vein of form whilst still playing a number of marginal players - Cook, Pedlar, Taylor and Jones. I suppose Cumming and Rachele (hopefully) auto replace perhaps Jones and one of the other lads. Will be interesting to see who holds their place.
Also very pumped when other teammates score. Actually all our players are. They are finding true joy in the moment. Itās brilliant to see. Goals, smothers, tackles. Perhaps this is Davisās influence celebrating the ālittle thingsā but love to see itAnd Neal Bullen loved it as well 12 tackles and watch him for minute after he kicked that first goal. Hopefully Nicks can put himself (the need to perform) ahead of an ageing servant of the club.Crouch is still AFL standard, no doubt. But his role as an inside bull has been taken by Peatling and Berry, and he has no other strings to his bow. At this stage he is a depth player.
We should be looking to trade him for a club that needs his sort. Or else just signing him on as depth, with a salary to match.
I've liked Crouch over the journey, but he has been replaced.
Is that avatar real? Also very pumped when other teammates score. Actually all our players are. They are finding true joy in the moment. Itās brilliant to see. Goals, smothers, tackles. Perhaps this is Davisās influence celebrating the ālittle thingsā but love to see it
Absolutely but much of it is also the combo of a fit team this year relative to last (TT, Worrell, Rankine, Murray etc missing much) AND the ābig 4ā inclusions of Curtin and the trade in guys. Add them all and itās at least a third of the team thatās far superior. And career best years for Keane, Worrell, Rachele, TT, Soli, Dawson etcPicking the right marginal players is essential. Guys like Cook and Taylor have great football IQ and a lot of untapped talent. Much better than picking effort grunts like we have done for years
Unfortunately so. I clearly was hanging about the Intl politics thread too much but will upgrade to the three headed monster soonIs that avatar real?
