From an at the ground perspective so might be different to some others:

5 Houston
4 Duursma
3 DBJ
2 R.Gray
1 Rozee

Ironically the 6 best players on the ground were all Port players....past and present. Will Snelling.

Hard to go past Robbie as BOG. Kicked goals, was physical, worked hard and looked to be back to his game winning best. Houston has claims on becoming one of our best midfielders - crazy to think he went second round in the rookie draft. DBJ was solid as a rock, rebounded well, defended well. Rozee also kicked an absolute bag and looked dangerous again. Marshall looked assured for once, as if his role was broken down into much simpler parts - goal kicking looked good, lead at the ball, attacked it more, positioning was better, chased well, maybe Dixon makes him walk taller.

Unlucky to Boak, Rocky, Ladhams and Duursma who were solid.

5 votes Jake Stringer's tramp stamp
4 votes Robbie Gray for imitating Eddie Betts
3 votes Ken Hinkley for selecting a forward line
2 votes Eddie McGuire for asking can Zac Clarke step up?
1 vote Todd Marshall for tucking his mouth guard into his jocks

Champion Data's player ranking algorithm gives Merrett and Snelling a higher rating than Houston and DBJ despite their Super coach rating giving the Port boys superior ratings. Houston's rating was his career best (as was Snelling's and Ladhams)
