With no Michalanney what's our plan for Impey? Hopefully not letting him run riot like we did in Launceston.

Taylor or PedlarWith no Michalanney what's our plan for Impey? Hopefully not letting him run riot like we did in Launceston.
Taylor can stay due to his footy IQ it's Pedlar for me who is first out, just looks lost out there.seriously high footy IQ - rarely wastes a possession, did a great job locking down on rozee.

Agree with your changes.Out: Michalanney, Pedlar
IN: Bond (will probably be Smith), Cumming
I doubt Pedlar will be dropped but I've just about given up on him. I had him as a potential A grade mid/forward but he just doesn't do enough or get enough of the ball. I don't know if it's a fitness or work rate issue, but I would have thought last night conditions would have been perfect him.
Taylor - building but hasn't cemented his place IMO.
Cook - who is this guy wearing number 15. Looks a completely different player. His intensity and work ethic have gone through the roof. He looks hungry. Amazing what a bigger body and confidence can do for your game. That kick to Fogarty was sublime.
Jones - Doing okay but I don't see a long-term role.
Bond - One of the few success stories of 2024. Came in and immediately looked a 150-200 game player. Tough, aggressive and composed under pressure. Really unlucky not to have played this year.
Taylor imo.Taylor or Pedlar
Sure I read a comment from Burgo about lower leg soreness somewhere, doesn't take a rocket scientist to come up with a calf from that, not much else it can beIf the Fox broadcast is to be believed, one of them said calf tightness - guessing Roo but I wasn't paying a heap of attention at the time.
Wash your mouth outMurph and Crouch got a lot of touches today in the seconds
Some of your fellow fans seriously under rate our defence, mids and even forwards and think Hawks will turn up and come away with an easy win….Involves having the best side we have put out all year on the park. It's pretty much a GF for us. We will need to play as well as we have all year to win no doubt about it.
I would say the same for some of you guys on here tbh, think you will shit it in based on the way you are playing. That might happen but I can't see it happen we are certainly more than capable. Your board you guys can say what you want I get that so I'll leave it at that. Acknowledging it's a huge challenge. Some of your fellow fans seriously under rate our defence, mids and even forwards and think Hawks will turn up and come away with an easy win….

From a couple of posters that talk rubbish, most of the balanced knowledgeable posters know how difficult this game will be for us.You’re not sitting in the top 2, with a % of 146. If you were, I’d be paying you your due respect. Some of the comments in your thread are ridiculously dismissive of how good we have become.
Not really. Most realise how tough an assignment it is. Should be a cracker. You’re not sitting in the top 2, with a % of 146. If you were, I’d be paying you your due respect. Some of the comments in your thread are ridiculously dismissive of how good we have become.
Max is not fine.If Max is fine it's and it was all just pre-cautionary it becomes interesting.
Probably Jones back for a full game in the SANFL and Pedler to sub?
Yeah minimum 3 weeks and as North is the last round probably rest him for that one too so he has 5 weeks to get ready for finalsMax is not fine.
As others have said. He is definitely out. Had the thigh strapped after the game and was struggling to walk. Scans will determine if it's 3-4 or 5+If Max is fine it's and it was all just pre-cautionary it becomes interesting.

Just hit the kneeSniper on the Hill
Yeah, I had a flick through that thread. Didn't seem to be much different to reading some the comments posted hereThere are some very cocky Hawk's supporters on their board who think they are going to smash us. Hopefully we can turn the tables on them and teach them a lesson.
Pedlar just has something about him that I think is worth sticking with until there's someone like Rachele pushing to come back in.
A lot of them are also saying it'll be their biggest and most serious challenge for the year and that Max is a serious loss for us, both of which are probably true. Their board isn't nearly as delusional as the GCS or Port boards. You seriously should read their preview thread. It reminds me how much I hate Hawthorn, well actually their supporter base. A whole bunch of them saying we won’t know what hit us, they’ll smash us, blah blah blah.
We’re on top of the ladder (for today), sit on 146%, have the highest rated defence in the AFL, which is also the 3rd highest rated defense since champion data has existed.
I really can’t wait until we do a number on these pricks this week.
