Assuming Cumming and Bond for Max and Jones:

Bond goes back, Cumming wing, Cook sub

Or Cumming goes back, Cook wing and Bond sub

Also tend to think Cook can play Taylor/Pedlar's role such that they'd be in the mix for sub.

Cook and Taylor seemed to be swapping between forward and the wing in the last quarter on Saturday night.

I can’t see Bond, or any kid coming in at this stage.

Smith & Cummimg for MM & Taylor.

I can, as it's the depth chart at work.

The thing with the Michalanny loss is we're replacing a defensive small, with the next in line being Bond (based on last year). If it was a half back flanker, it'd probably be Smith.

Was at training.

Rankine doing running and finished early, but seemed fine.

Butts back running which is good to see. Cumming trained fully.

In match sim Jones was on B team and Bond in the As. Worth noting however that Laird was in the Bs which we obviously know won’t be the case, tho maybe it was to give Bond some exposure in that small defender role?

Anyway think it’s quite likely Bond gets a gig for Jones.

Cook, Taylor and Pedlar were all in the A team. Smith and Murphy were in the Bs.

Gonna hazard a guess that it’s Cumming and Bond in for Max and Jones.
Thanks.

Pedlar perhaps to sub then.

Some very confident Hawks fans thinking they'll win easily....

As they have every right to be. After all, they won despite us playing bloody good football in Tassie (due to us squandering a ridiculous amount of chances).

Right to think they’ll win easily?
We’ve lost 1 game all year at home.

Why are we discussing the oppo board? Who cares?

On the game, we were the superior team in Tassie and were very unlucky to lose.

However, they have got a lot better since then. Sicily is now in form and must be sat on. Similarly, Day and Lewis are in and will need to be watched. We have also got better and are at home. It will be difficult, but, provided we keep up the frantic pressure and defence, we should be OK.

From memory we didn’t have peatling either who should go straight to day.

I'd think we'd smack Carlton or Saints away, irrespective of form at the moment. Some match ups have been one-sided enough in recent times that there is no concerns attached to them.

The tests and games keep getting bigger. Which is absolutely perfect with our building blocks now in place. This does feel like a real danger game as Hawks have had our measure. Day and a couple of key forward back since the Tassie robbery. Hopefully not too much physical hangover 6 days prior in the waterlogged game.

WIN this OR Pies game (and our 2 relatively easy away games where Weagles are 12.5-1 to win!) and we very likely finish TOP 2

WIM this AND Pies game (and easy games) and we finish Minor Premier for the third time (2005, 2017)

Currently shortening slightly and paying 1.44 (Horks 2.81) for the win.

Bond will come in for a small forward, along with Milera and Laird taking Wiz, Gini and Moore. Look forward to smashing them in tackles and umps not paying ducking frees against these guys.

Sounds like jones Max out
Cumming bond in
Pedlar to sub
I like these changes also. I think Bond fills the back spot perfectly against the Hawks

Credit to Nicks, it's great to see a couple of skillful guys in Taylor and Cook come into the team
We have gone away from the grunt and unskilled players to the smart and highly skilled players.
We look a lot more dangerous with these guys in the team.
They don't get a lot of touches at the moment but everything they do seems all class
Still hoping Pedlar comes good but he doesn't give me much confidence sometimes

I’m not so sure. In the Dogs game Cumming went back when Butts went off. They might do that again. It wouldn’t be crazy, it’s where many on here wanted him to play.

I guess the question is do they think it’s more important to keep some attacking ability in the backline or to have someone whose sole job it is to lockdown hard on a small-medium fwd.

But Cumming doesn't need to go back if we bring Bond in.
Then it gives us the flexablilty to play Cumming on the wing with Curtin and Cook or HBF if Bond doesn't work out
