You are the best! Maybe a few more posts about how good Ned and Chayce Jones are!

Your reputation is stellar mate!
So if we go to those guys threads when they were drafted you will have been there calling them out as duds?
No one backs every player correctly.
You have 18 list management departments who will be drafting a number of them at the end of the year.
And with regards to calling Bicks out for Ned and Chayse, what you are really saying is Hamish Ogilvie doesnt know what he is doing, as he was the one that actually drated them.

I am saying Bicks has got more wrong than he has got right. And he gloats about the good calls, but will never put his hand up when is (often) wrong.

Yeah and Hamish has got a lot wrong. He got a bunch right which I am happy to acknowledge. But he also made a lot of complete F*** ups.

The whole ‘we have a hoodoo’ against X team thing is a strange obsession on this board and has been proven wrong multiple times this year. Collingwood have beaten us a lot because they have been good and we have been bad. In the period of losses since 2017 they’ve finished above us on the ladder every year except one, made finals 5 times, top four 4 times, two grand finals and a flag. We’ve missed the finals every year.

I think that’s the cause of the results, rather than some magic edge caused by the jumper and a lack of fear of Adelaide Oval. If anything we have outperformed against Collingwood in recent years by being consistently competitive (compared to say Hawthorn, Geelong or Sydney who have belted us a bunch), but you’d expect them to win regularly against a team that has mostly sat near the bottom of the ladder.

All the more reason to give him a go for me. They gave him a go on Merrett in his 2nd game from memory, and he did alright in the first half, but got beaten in the 2nd (not a slant, Merrett is a Star).

But getting a guy who can stop a star outside skewed player is a valuable tool come finals. Which is why i've said before, once Bond gets his spot I doubt he gives it back.
I like the idea of it, he has the fitness and strength to go into the midfield. I think we need a stopper, or at least a run with to stop the Bonts, Daicos' and Merretts of the world.

As expected - Smith and Tex confirmed in for Laird and Burgess.

Article doesn't imply whether we are or aren't making further changes.

Would be incredibly disappointing if we don't bring in Dowling.

Yeah, just watched footage where Nicks suggested Smith is a good replacement for Laird.

Tex for Burgess.

Surely Dowling for Jones.

Bugger....Smith
Surely we can make Smith sub where he has played better than full games.

Cumming for Laird.
Dowling for Cumming so he gets a full game.

Smith coming in for Laird was obvious. The Crows are nothing if not extremely predictable, and they have made it very clear that Smith is Laird's designated backup.

The only real question is whether they are too scared to make unforced changes or not. Jones should absolutely be dropped (for either Dowling or Draper), but will they be concerned about making that many changes?

Awesome. Smith Laird Tex and Burgess all in conversation while our young performing players gather dust in the twos. Better hope we win the flag Nicks.

The only conversation Burgess is in is whether we can get some value out of him by melting him down to make glue.

Okay, I'm being unfair. He could prove useful in our SANFL finals push, I guess.
