I agree that he's not a long term solution and the clock is ticking.That's not true though. Most of our side can perform a role in a pressure game and have proven it at AFL level
Burgess has never performed well for us in a pressure game like this and can't be trusted to just "play his role" in a final
Contrast that to someone else out of the current side like Butts who has performed a role in big games
However, it is also hard to drop into a team that was well below par and perform above the level of the rest of the team. All I am saying is that it is easy to be hypercritical in a 2025 sample size of 1 in a game multiple players had a touch of the fumbles.
