Do you think the Crows will bring Sid Draper into the 23 this week?

Out:
Smith, Murphy; good job last night but we don't need you next week.

In:
Laird, Dowling

Schoenberg got stuck in, I want to see a full game.

If we didn't have that week off after North, we would be resting a few.
wonder if there is any way we could get Edwards on the park. maybe give Hinge a rest, or make Hinge the sub and drop Taylor, Smith, and Murphy

Nicks said we won't be resting many, if any, because we need to get our game going before finals. There is truth to that. We do actually need to get our midfield-forward connection game going again.

It might be minimal resting but very high rotations and use the sub at half time regardless of the game conditions.

There's a difference between field kicking and set shot kicking. Kyle Hartigan was a very ordinary field kick and a fantastic kick for goal.
Yep granted thats the case, im just not sure its worth doing especially if it means he has to be 2nd ruck.

Give Turray a run if we have to.

Out Murphy Schoenberg

Dowling and Laird straight back.

Id rest Dawson and a few others.
I wouldn't be resting anyone. If we played like we did against WC, we will lose against North.
We have glaring issues at the moment, and we need to sort that out with our best 22 prior to finals.
This is our last hit out before them.

I maintain it doesn't mean that much now, we basically broke even in the 2017 GF against Richmond in clearances but lost by 8 goals.

It's all about transition and efficiency at scoring now. If there is a team we are playing who has a vastly superior midfield, why would we try and compete with them and beat them there? Our forward line and backline are the best in the competition.

Don't think conceeding that many I50s is sustainable, partially because of how many clearances we lost. Yes the game is transitioned focuses now but we can still improve this area with simple selections and positional moves.

Next week doesnt matter too much.

At the start of the year I said there is no way even we, a team crying out for midfielders, would play a young midfielder we drafted with pick 4 and not play him. I was wrong.

In: Laird, Pedlar, Dowling and Draper
Out: Murphy, Smith, Taylor and Schoenberg

I'd give Schoenberg a full game against North. Reward for coming back from an ACL. Thought he did well as a sub, his handballs are always so attacking. Started in the center square on Daicos after not playing AFL football for over a year.

I was impressed they chucked Harry into the middle, but bit bizarre to go from an ACL and no AFL to attending the center bounce on Daicos.

The Crows have earnt a top 2 spot with a match left. Absolute prime position. I know there is a bye coming up, but I'm resting the four most important players: Thilthorpe, Dawson, Rankine and Worrell for North Melbourne.

In Burgess Out Thilthorpe
In Dowling Out Dawson
In Butts Out Worrell
In Draper Out Rankine
In Laird Out Murphy
