If you dont have match fitness by now you'll never have itTwo weeks without match fitness - you would be flirting with form. Possibly rest RTs shoulder and that would be it.

Murphy was always coming in when Pedlar didn't come up.My opinions only...
Yes, of course they will. History has shown this repeatedly. I agree with you that neither Murphy or Schoenberg should ever be selected at AFL level, ever again, and both should be delisted as soon as the finals are done.
Yes Laird will return. Smith could end up as the sub.
None whatsoever.
Yes, this is a very real possibility. Butts did nothing wrong other than getting injured. A week in the SNAFL should be all he needs to prove that he's regained his fitness and is ready to play at AFL level again.
I doubt there's any chance of him being dropped. Taylor has been pretty good for the last few weeks - certainly a massive upgrade on Murphy.

We still had to win the game in Perth. It's almost like some folk here have the memories of gold fish and are writing similar posts as those in the lead up to travel to Perth and play WC
And completely ignoring Nicks comments in his post match presser re players and form, or the potential lack of game time if we win the first final
West AdelaideAnd like Xerri was hardly troubling the stats guy at Qtr time ......had a massive 2nd Qtr ....and I mean massive !Tristan Xerri 40 hit outs, 22 disposals, 17 tackles 6 clearances.
Harry Sheezel 54 disosals, 7 marks, 6 clearances, 5 tackles, 688 metres gained, 2.2
Luke Davies-Uniakie 40 disposals, 9 marks, 7 tackles, 10 clearances, 732 metres gained, 1.1

But moments like these can be fleeting. Best to enjoy it and go along for the ride. Better this than being like the dog chasing the car's wheel. When he finally catches his target, he doesn't know what to do and has a horrible time. Its like I'm sitting in the happy clapper section at AO.
We need to get back inform. The last 3 weeks we've played some of our worst football this year. Whether it's because players haven't been going as hard due to the top 2 being pretty much sewn up or we are genuinely out of form is the question. I would rather a tired team in form than a well rested team out of form. We wont be tired as you pointed out as there's a week off post round 24. We need to play our best team next week and get back in form. If we play in the finals like we have the last 3 weeks we will definitely be out in straight sets.
Out
Murray Smith Murphy Schoenberg Bond/Taylor
In
Butts Pedlar Laird Max Dowling
Max Butts Worrell
Milera Keane Hinge
Cumming Dawson Curtin
ANB Thilthorpe Keays
Rankine Fogarty Walker
ROB Soligo Peatling
Laird Pedlar Dowling Berry
Sub: Taylor/Bond
Top two is not only a formality it is a guarantee.
I mean we were pretty good against Hawthorn, even last night we had our moments. We need to get back inform. The last 3 weeks we've played some of our worst football this year. Whether it's because players haven't been going as hard due to the top 2 being pretty much sewn up or we are genuinely out of form is the question. Dowling needs to come in.
Have 2 bex and have a lie down.Seriously..
And yet these fxxkstains will still pick Murphy time and time again.
How is the media not absolutely hammering nicks over this disgrace??..
I am not sure there has ever been a poorer club at the selection table that the currently run crows..
‘but we’re top’ you’ll hear their apologists squeal!.. Couldve give a shit.. even the top clubs have selection integrity. Ours doesnt.
Top clubs stay as top clubs for years because of selection integrity. Ours wont unless this ludicrous shit changes.
Murphy is literally the worst footballer in the entire AFL.
I’ve heard the AFL will deduct points for what they’re calling Opponent Disrespect. Whisper is draft sanctions for severe cases.
Is this a joke?
Butts to replace Muzz too.Nicks said after the game that the focus this week is getting back in to form. They obviously feel like they weren’t anywhere near their best.
With that in mind I don’t see any funny changes or resting players.
OUT: Murphy, Schoenberg
IN: Pedlar (if fit), Dowling
That will then more or less be our finals team I think with Max to replace Bond and Rach to replace Pedlar whenever they return.
Dowling or Sid should be our finals sub.
