In general, I favour resting the big guys for away games and wheeling them out at home. The stresses of a flight on someone who's 200cm, give or take, add up quicker. (I'd think. I'm Dudley height, and the last time I had a decent point of reference for being fighting fit was when "partying like it's 1999" referred to the future, not ancient history.)

However, when the home game is against Richmond and their most experienced forward is not playing, so yeah, give him a week and make sure he's right for the two games in Adelaide.
OR take the opportunity to get him into form for the remainder of the season.

Give him limited game time in an actual game is a better option than resting him or playing for Peel.

They'll be more stoppages around the ground which will mean more of what he's good at.

Wet weather really suits the genuine rucks over the blokes that ruck but are really getting by through their ability around the ground.
He won't have played a wet weather game for awhile.

Better this week against Richmond than next in Adelaide.

Everyone is a bit fever brained about missing out on kicking a big score against the tigers cause of the weather

Maths has never been a real strong point of mine but isnt 75 to 25 better than 150 to 50 % wise somehow even though it should be the same ?

Like it’s better in the long run to keep your points against low ?
They'd be exactly the same percentage wise in a one off game. Percentage of 300.

Issue with low scores is they make far less impact on the percentage over the course of a season.

ATM we've scored 218 and conceded 180 for a percentage of 121.1.

75-25 means its 293 and 205 for percentage of 136.3.

150-50 means it's 368 and 230 for a percentage of 160.

Makes a massive difference.

I see it differently.

Say you want a percentage of 200. You can let your opponent kick one goal, and all you need to do is kick 2 goals to finish with a percentage of 200.

But say you’ve let your opponent kick 8 goals, now you have go and kick 16 goals to get to a percentage of 200.

Which means your forward line has to find 14 extra goals to make up for the fact your defence gave 7 goals up.

Principle being, superior percentage discourages high scoring games, as every goal you concede, you need to score disproportionately more to maintain a good percentage.

Is that you, Ross? ;)

Discrediting a govt agency that spends 96 million on a failed website is fair game IMO. It’s an absurd amount of money and if it happened in the private sector the company would go broke.

The BOM get it wrong all the time (on wind, swell, tide ect). I’m a keen surfer and gave up on relying on them ages ago.

If you think 100 MLS of rain will fall in Perth this weekend you’ve well and truly drunk the Kool Aid too. The water temp is currently too cold south of Gero for it to track south, and it will lose potency if it does anyway.
Damn, that's some incredibly refreshing Kool Aid, care to try some?
