As they should be.Yeah agreed but they'll find a way to bring in Laird and possibly ROB too by the sounds of things.
Nank and Pedlar in the firing line
Is he fit ??
IMO ROBs inclusion might depend on how effective our 2nd ruck selection is.
So far its fair to say it hasnt worked despite peoples desperate desire to keep Filthy out of there.

If we don't improve our ball movement none of this will matter.
I don't think it would be beneficial either, but im more of a fan of using Filthy in the role hes played his whole footy life in.Sounds like Laird isn't fit, so I guess not. I'm assuming that the club will absolutely select him the first week he's available, though. No SANFL return for him.
As for ROB, I remain convinced that we would be better off using him as the second ruck selection over Murray or Maley. But it appears the club disagrees with me.
No Butts, serious question marks on Dawson against a top notch midfield. We have too many important players down on form (Rankine, Keays, Fog etc)
Freo at $2.10 looks very good value to me and I reckon those odds tighten
Any word on Dawson? i am hearing that he wont return this week
I would have thought that was a no brainer considering that Freo have Jackson and Darcy rucking. McAndrew should be first ruck against Jackson with ROB coming on when Darcy rucks. It is the perfect matchup for ROB, and it is probably only for this week, but having Finnbar against Darcy would be crazy. You can see it coming from, row z that they want to bring in ROB.
According to Nicks, Dawson, Tex, Laird back for Freo, with a good possibility of ROB as well.![]()
Apparently, Tex has an "undisclosed" (minor) injury, as well as being rested.
From what I’ve seen, Darcy does the majority of the rucking, Jackson plays more of a mid.I would have thought that was a no brainer considering that Freo have Jackson and Darcy rucking. I doubt Laird gets up so for me,
Dawson for Nankervis or Peatling
Borlase for Butts
Walker for Maley
ROB for Chayce
Bringing in ROB would be real ooga booga areas from Nicks
I doubt they will rush Hinge back in.Given the latest injury report, I would go
Out: Butts (concussion), Jones, Bond, Maley
In: Borlase, Dawson, Hinge, Walker
B Borlase - Murray - Michalanney
HB Hinge - Worrell - Milera
R McAndrew - Dawson - Rachele
C Cumming - Berry - Cook
HF Rankine - Thilthorpe - Neal-Bullen
F Taylor - Fogarty - Walker
I Soligo - Peatling - Keays - Nankervis - Pedlar
Dowling dislikes thisSo like, half a team in the other group?
What was the point of that? Just so we could point at Edwards and Ryan and remind the other draftees they probably won't get a game?
Oh yeah, we should probably give him a game at half forward and drop him next weekDowling dislikes this

I’m with you on ROB. McAndrew is doing a great job but is tiring significantly as the game wears on. Having ROB as second ruck and extra time late in the game is a must for me.Sounds like Laird isn't fit, so I guess not. The only reason it’s even potentially viable is because ROB would have the opportunity to compete against another ruckman who cannot get off the ground and is not physically capable of jumping. Otherwise it would be suicide.I’m with you on ROB. McAndrew is doing a great job but is tiring significantly as the game wears on. Wow. Haven’t been on here for a while and then walk straight in to stupid comments like this one!Yep.
Taylor might touch it as many times but you can almost guarantee he'll do something constructive.
Pedlar is no better than Murphy
I guess you havent watched us play in a while either.Wow. Haven’t been on here for a while and then walk straight in to stupid comments like this one!
