The worst part about this is even with Carlton sucking over the last few years along with Brisbane and GC you could still look at the talent on their list and say - when it turns around for them they could have some absolute stars there. We are now in last place and there wouldnt be one football analyst in the game that would say that about our list. LDU looks promising and our first year players also could turn out decent. Who else is there? Where is our Charlie Curnow, Cripps, Jack Martin? Hipwood? We have ended up in last place and drafted almost nothing.

Only a new coach can turn this around now - someone who can instill absolute grunt and grit back into this side. Its not going to come from huge developmental gains from our up and coming players

They'll look toward next week against the Hawks and know its not an easy to game to win but look toward the week after at North and say 'That's doable'. Guaranteed.

Blues will be looking for blood come that game they'll see it as an opportunity to get 2 wins on the board for the season, if Bolton has the chops as a coach he'll be wanting his boys to get up for that game and play like they did today.

So far only Kane Cornes and David King have made scathing comments about us but hopefully now being on the bottom of the ladder and heading to our most hated ground against a firing PA will get some other journo's to take some notice.
