Dowling to play HF/Mid in the Pedlar role. Hope Luke hasnt busted a jaw but he should have been out anyway.

Soligo needs to go back to find fitness and form. Playing him off another 6 day break wont do him any good. Edwards to debut.

I've given Jones more rope than most, but for his own good he needs to be sat down and said "Sorry mate, but thats it and if you want to call it quits now we'll pay you whatever you're owed als Strachanie" Laird comes back in because as bad as he was, he couldn't be that bad

for whatever reason, I haven't been overly harsh on Jones in the past , and while I've understood the criticisms that many have thrown his way, I guess I've been hoping that something would click

tonight's game though, basically sums up his career - dropped when on 99 games; late recall that means absolutely no fanfare for his 100th and then he produces that performance - it actually makes me feel sorry for him

Thank god someone else has said this . Most overrated player to ever play the game . He was our Deer in Headlights player …. Played 200 games like Chayce Jones played his first 20 and we have him coaching our mids. He knew how to do nothing but run like a marathon runner. Van Berlo had no awareness or skill in close and was always pressured if not on the outside. Why would you make him a coach ……. Just because he was eloquent

I don't see us making more than 4 changes, but I'd also look at:

1) Fogarty for Maley - only if Fog is 100%, but I wouldn't be opposed to giving him another week

2) If Hinge is ready, bring him in for Bond

3) Keays very lucky. Give Draper 1-2 more to get match fitness up and full MID minutes so he can be unleashed soon

Carlton only run with one ruck don't they, could potentially just have McAndrew (assuming he doesn't pull up sore, was sore during the game by the looks).

Maley should stay in as the Ibis/ROB replacement. He actually provides problems to the oppo.
