He handballed into the back of Laird’s leg after Laird ran past him after Mackay refused to give first option and ran at the West Coast player, Laird should have ran wider but Mackay wanted to draw body contact rather than 1-2 with Laird to create space. It was dumb play all up but Mackay’s usual overestimating of his abilities played the main role.
