selection will be interesting. hard to see him dropping smith.
He was solid in the first quarter, but became pretty much invisible in the 2nd and 3rd and didn't pick up again until Carlton gave up in the 4th.
Test will be how he performs under some real pressure.

I didn’t have Smith in my Round 1 2024 side (let alone 2025) and would never have selected him today.
Having said that, Nank absolutely goes out before Smith for a Showdown after today. Nank is out of form and is an easy drop tbh.

Nankervis is someone that I'd like to play back into form, but yeah for a must win showdown - it feels that he should probably go at this stage.

Nice of Smith to get a goal but I will be annoyed Nank instead.
Don’t really trust Berry to perform in a high pressure game but liked what he did, especially his burst out of packs.
Having a 5th inside mid means we don’t have to give Rankine or Dawson heavy minutes in there.

Yeah Nank hasn't been in great form, he keeps trying to do too much and then gets himself into trouble. Probably fair enough for him to drop out for Hinge.
Feels like a guy who we've overcoached and he's not playing on instinct anymore. Just looks like he's got 10 things running through his head when he gets it and I don't recall him being so tentative with the ball in hand previous to this year.

I suspect its going to be unchanged. Nank probably likely to be dropped but thats it if a change occurs.
