Cats or dogs for last spot in the top 4, so when they play, its a very significant result

Unfortunately, we have not beaten them since round 21 2009. Good time to break that. Then theres 7 finals in a row.. damn cats.

I really struggle to see us beating the Cats in any setting to be honest, their strengths are our weaknesses. They close down our run and easy options like few other teams and are just far too strong in contests across the field for us to compete aerially. We have to find a way to run and gun against them which we haven't managed to do in a long, long, long time. Hope I'm wrong but Geelong are the one team I really struggle to see us getting the better of.

Agree with this, they're a pretty big bodied team and they'll win most one on ones and contested ball. Good kicking and hand passing into space is vital, if you turn the ball over you're cooked.

Brisbane's defence reaching GWS 2013 levels of poor

As a Crows fan, I'm certainly looking forward to the fact that we play Essendon and Brisbane in the 2 games after Geelong.

The Essendon game could be a danger game, but it's at home where we're 12-1 from our last 13 games (we lost to Geelong in R8), so it would be a massive win by Essendon if they could beat us.

Brisbane honestly don't look like they could beat anyone at the moment. They're competitive for very small periods of time during games, but are generally getting smashed.

It may seem strange. But Crows fans have long memories and the Neil Craig latter years are burnt into our minds. Top four one week, losing to cellar dwellars the next. If you look on the Adelaide board, every game we should win is down as a 'Danger Game'

When the seasons over, it might be interesting to see what bearing the kick had - goal/point/miss = win/draw/lose

Well its possible Hawthorn rest a couple of players in the run home and drop a game if they sense top 4 is secure

maybe the Swans win a game they would have lost because they are in a precarious spot now for a top 4 finish

Hate to be 'that' supporter, especially because of how much I love the squiggle... but I feel the squiggle is under-rating North at the moment when it comes to the ladder predictor.
Dont question the squiggle, the squiggle knew all along :)

Absolutely no chance Adelaide doesn't finish in the top 2 this season. Bookmark it. They'll be hosting a qualifying final for certain. I'd be surprised if they dropped a game before finals tbh.

We're playing at Kardinia Park this Saturday

I know Hawks fans don't really know what that concept actually means having not played there for over a decade, but it's a bloody hard road trip -

Or Pies/Essendon supporters.

The difficulty of it is greatly over stated, just like playing us in Tasmania.

The reason Geelong have such a good record there is that they often play average sides there (interstate sides are often the only real good teams they get down there) and the main one, they have been an incredible side over the last decade, they have had a great record against everyone everywhere.

Now that they have doped off a bit over the past two years thier record at Kardinia Park is nowhere near as daunting.

I believe we won there fairly regularly back when we did.

Well 3 wins in 25 years isn't exactly the kind of historical precedence that makes me confident about this weekend
I reckon Adelaide are a much better side than Geelong both in general and in terms of current form. I think the ground will really suit your fast attacking style.
