But if its only a rankings system, there's always Roby. Superior in every way, Roby is. Roby told me so.
Roby's secret ingredient is calculus...

With the new predicted table we have 2 South Australian sides, 2 West Australian sides, 2 New South Wales Sides and 2 de-facto Tasmanian sides :O

Squiggle: Port, your making me look stupid.

Port: We're sor-

Squiggle: ..don't want to hear it! You'll now finish 8th and if you pull any more **** like that, you won't be making the eight.

Some reason I got a Fagan vibe for that.

If the Squiggle is correct, it's going to be an exciting, wide-open race to the finals.
5-12 are 8 teams within two games of each other playing for four spots in the finals. Round has Geelong-Adelaide, Collingwood-Adelaide and North-Richmond as potential 8-pointers and Round 22 has Geelong-Collingwood, Bulldogs-North and Essendon-Richmond. Six key games in the final two rounds that could decide who makes finals and who doesn't

We play Sydney next week at the MCG. If we win that game, we will overtake them given and one of Adelaide or GWS given our greater percentage. We were in the same position this time last year with injuries and suspensions and we all know the end result.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not underestimating Hawthorn by any means. They still scare me more than any other side.

I've been rejoicing hard each time you've racked up an unexpected loss - it would be nice to see you finish outside the top 2 and have to try do it the hard way interstate.

I'm barracking hard for every loss for you guys, it would be nice to see you finish outside the top 2 and have to try do it the hard way interstate

Just like the Lions in 2003 (14-7-1 and 3rd) it would be interesting to see how we'd go.

The Hawks have never won a flag from outside the top 2 after the home and away season (not that that probably means anything)

Sydney and Brisbane the only two clubs that have in the current system. It's quite hard to do.

Fair point. We only have ourselves to blame losing those three games. The Essendon loss will probably hurt us the most though if it proves to be the difference between a home final or away final in week 1.

Still a fair way to go yet. We haven't finished in the top four under Clarkson and played interstate final yet. If that does end up happening, I won't lie I would very be nervous about our chances whether it's against Fremantle, Adelaide, West Coast or Sydney.

This is truly an amazing algorithm. I have shown it to my Highschool Maths classes whenever they ask what will we ever use Maths for. It is quite an accurate representation of both short and medium term form and the tipping margins are usually scarily close. Well done on all the work you have put into this.
