Do you have a Delorian in the garage or an itchy edit post finger?
Mind if I borrow your Grays Sports Almanac Biff?No edit.
It doesn't account for those factors for everyone else though either. Bulldogs have arguably never looked like a Premership team at all this year except for the last three weeks, amazing and mind boggling resultSquiggle is awesome and hope to see it next year too. One of my favorite threads on BF.
Dogs flag was only expected by Doggies fans. The squiggle has been too accurate for so long and doesn't account for a few factors that meant at some stage it would under rate a team. In game injuries and end of game time wasting, reduce your points total and thus squiggle rating. Team selection can also have a huge factor, so can end of year dead rubbers.
Looking forward to the squiggly post game analysis.
so talk to me about lotto numbers. What happens to the squiggle if Dogs win 89-68?

We are going to make you cry today.
Not quite "better" than the bolded ones. Though close enough to consider them about equal. You seem to be taking it from the base of the premiership cup icon when the actual point aligns with directly in the centre. To confirm that and find the exact value of those points you only need to go to each respective year and click the 'flagpole' and read what the 'combined' value is for that team under the regular season form section (which apparently includes the finals too).havent the dogs lifted themselves above numerous premierships with that win? their 'line' is above adelaide '97, geelong '09, hawthorn '08, hawthorn '13, brisbane '03, sydney '05, north '99... equal with west coast '06. im assuming that they are ranked 'better' than those below their diagonal line?
Won't see you again for a while after today. Dish lickers will be licking their wounds for a long time.

Bulldogs 2016 = 69.3
Hawthorn 2013 = 69.4
Hawthorn 2008 = 69.4
West Coast 2006 = 69.7
Brisbane 2003= 69.5
Though if you do a comparison of the relative positions between the premier and the runner-up before the GF is played then by eyeballing it you could make the case that the Bulldogs beating the Swans was just as (if not more) unlikely/impressive than Hawthorn beating Geelong in 2008. That being said there is the consideration that a few Bulldogs supporters have already pointed out - that they weren't being accurately represented on the Squiggle prior to the finals due to their injuries to players who had since returned and should've been higher. Where as Hawthorn and Geelong in 2008 were close enough to full strength and therefore more accurately placed.
Either way it's a fantastic premiership for the Doggies that clearly stands up there with plenty of other past premierships. You don't win 4 straight finals with 2 interstate trips and not be a deserved premier.
We stuck it right up the squiggle
Would love to see an Eagles 06 vs Dogs 16 game. Would be so dominated by mids.havent the dogs lifted themselves above numerous premierships with that win? their 'line' is above adelaide '97, geelong '09, hawthorn '08, hawthorn '13, brisbane '03, sydney '05, north '99... equal with west coast '06. im assuming that they are ranked 'better' than those below their diagonal line?

The hate is by those who don't understand that the squiggle only goes off of scores in games. Just numbers.I don't get this hate for the Squiggle. Am I missing something?![]()
