True but I think Lisle and Calloway have more Chance then Kirby.

Hope I am wrong though
I think Kirby has just as much chance as any to win it unless he gets a senior call up.

Well looks like we're in for a head to head shoot out this week against Port between Kirby and Lisle. Can Kirby hang on to claim the Frosty medal? On a similar note Kirby needs 3 goals to equal Paine's 45 goal haul (from 19 games) in 2013, which is the best tally by a VFL (2000;2008 -) magpie.

42 goals. What a s**t medal. As I don't follow VFL records too closely at all, how does the amount goals rank compared to previous years?

Poor overall, but not the worst and comparable to the last 3 seasons

Comes down to simple question?

Is it better to try to win a seconds competition goal kicking medal or play one game of AFL?

I'd take AFL senior football any time, each game is quite valuable

It's important to try and win the game first and foremost.
If at the same time he wins the Frosty, even better.

Yes that's my belief.

On the original question, one game of AFL is worth more than 5 seconds comp medals

Pretty harsh penalty for a guy on not that much living away from home who didn't really do anything :(
Not that much? Draftees earn about $70-80k per year before match payments, which is $20-30k more than the average worker. As a young single guy with no major financial commitments I'm sure he'll survive losing $600.
