The PHOTO is the Qld provincial caller I reckon - does Rocky, Townsville etc. Also likes " I wanna be on the favorite " in the last 200m.

Naa its Mitch Manners. I like him as a caller but he is so biased to faves its not funny. He would be great if he got rid of that tendancy

Could actually call. As soon as I seen the video I knew the 'Danny Campbell let him down' bit was in this call but it still gives me chills.
Also probably shouldn't have watched it with the sound up so high when I am sitting about 20metres away from Our Sir Vancelots owner
John McDermott must say "the power is on, bunny up to the boxes, we're set to jump" in his sleep.

Never heard anyone else say it but I’ve always thought he was on board the King. The way he emphasised the name ”Kingston TOWN” can’t win. In my opinion he said it with disgust, pessimistically, like he was having an ordinary day on the punt and this last chance was going to lose.
Having a sook that he can’t even win with the ‘good thing’ of the day

Doesn't suprose me he calls dogs. Was so quick running between the wickets.
He's ok. I actually thought Tim Edward's was doing a good job and could have been given the gig fulltime. Brett Davis is one race caller who has a decent strike rate with his best bets
Does anyone know what's the go with Josh Fleming saying 'The starter Mr Russell Hansen' every sibgle race at the Sunshine coast but at other tracks he never says the name of the starter. Is it a drinking game with someone or something?

It seems all starters have to be called by the designation "mister". What makes them so special that they are a mister! Most of them hold the horses in the gates too long anyway

Huge fan of Timmy Newbold
Saw this one a couple of pages and meant to mention it. Really like the way this young bloke goes about it. Have heard him a few times lately and shows real promise in the game. Doesn't get flustered and calls it as he sees it - not he wants it to be.
Shenton was allowed back onto racecourses some years ago. Was a pretty reasonable caller in his day - when I first started on the punt he was the voice of Perth racing. Real shame how he fell from grace so badly but great he has turned his life around again.

Stewie would be a sensation these days. I love how he never let a bad ride be unnoticed. He was never bland!
