Crocoman speaks truth - Farming really does have massive environmental impact and farmers really need to get their act together before they ******** the whole place up.

croco does not speak the truth he is just a moron who bludges at taxpayer expense.
As for Australian farmers, you really need to do some serious research on this subject before you come out with these outlandish statements. There are some issues particularly with irrigation for rice and cotton which is wasting a scarce resource but the majority of farmers voluntarily take good care of the environment. They have planted billions of trees in the last decade. How many trees have all the latte sippers planted? They have stopped using DDT and have attempted to use biological pest controls ie the one for rabbits where possible. Introduced and feral animals such as horses, rabbits, pigs, cats, goats etc cause massive environmental damage. Try and shoot a few brumbies and the greenies go beserk. They are clueless hypocrites who would rather crap on about saving virgin forests in Tasmania (which they conveniently dont mention have already been logged in the past) rather than engage in lobbying for things like more research money for CSIRO, banning plastic bags, compulsory desexing of cats, culling of feral animals etc.
As for your mates at PETA hasnt them calling for fish and chips to be banned caused you to consider that they just may be a bunch of lunatics? Mind you if you think ComradeCrockofshxt speaks the truth then I doubt it.
