Radio 96fm blunder

Just wondering if anyone else was listening to 96fm this morning? On the 6.30am news bulletin I am sure that they said that a different Freo player had charges against him concerning assault.

I am definately not saying that is the case or anything and am assuming that the announcer made a gaff meaning to refer to JF. I was just surprised that they did not correct their mistake or something like that.

Did anyone else hear it?

I didn't hear this incident, but the numbers of blunders on the two main radio football stations - ABC 6WF and 6PR - has been disgraceful in the early stages of this season.
First, the ABC. Wally Foreman used to be an outstanding caller. Now he continually tries to be funny, resulting a constant stream of errors. Glen Mitchell spends his spare time burrowed in record books. Perhaps he would be better advised to concentrate on getting his limited sporting general knowledge in tact before his wide-range reading.
On 6PR, Carl Langdon is no better.
George Grljusich, which hurts me to say it, is the best football commentator in Perth. He knows his sport.
