just a quickie, dont know if its been done already but just curious to know if everyone else thinks the same as me

MMM would have to be the number 1 team in football surley? im just shattered that we dont play many saturday games, thus we rarley get the A-team (JB, BRRIIIIIIIIAN, Gary, Spud-reigle, Dr. Smooth)....which in turn means our man Trav Varcoe is unlikely to get a name from BT (ala Alwyn Davey - BRRRRRRRRRR, Leon Davis - Ignitor etc.)

if MMM dont do the catters games, i will listen to K-Rock, there allright, nothin special tho!

leave ya age, and ya radio pref..

20 - MMM

26 - 774

Although, listening to internet radio these days, I tend to go for K-Rock, just because the level of bias is frankly hilarious.

Haven't had the chance to really listen to the SEN commentary team, so can't judge them

22 - K-Rock

Although im getting really sick of everthing being a Dennis Family Homes Goal/Tackle/Mark/Handball of the day. They say its every 2 minutes

another thing they said 47 million (little exaduration!) times yesterday...."rove, roves cousin, relation to rove" every single time Mcmanus went near the ball......once is enough! everyone knows there related K-rock!

also, so far im quite surprised that the younger people are liking the older people stations (774, SEN)

I like listening to Triple M Footy in general, especially their pre game stuff. I haven't listened to a Geelong game on the radio for a long time though, but I enjoy thier calls of other games. I also listen to SEN during the week a lot, usually KB's show.

There's only one game I listen to on radio every year: the Grand Final. Why? "So what if Barry was holding on?! So what!? Read about in the paper, GOOSE!...Oh, it's a point. Well done Barry...showboating, that's what it's about. Nice work, BARRY! Whatareyousuggestingthey'vegivenupHG?! I don't thinkthey'vegivenupatall!"

Seriously: don't usually listen to the radio, if I'm at the game I'll just watch and if I'm at home I'll try and watch it on TV. At the moment the radio in my room can only get 3AW well so that's what I've got - depending on what mood I'm in Rex is either excrutiating or alright. If I'm at home home with the old man it's K-Rock (much like FOX News - bias makes them so bad they're good), 774, SEN and 3AW - in that order. Personally it's 774, loathe commercial radio for the abortion that is radio advertising and think their team is pretty good - SEN and 3AW can be a bit blokey, IMO.

SEN are our choice of listenening...if not doing our games (saints + lions) will listen to whoever is doing it EXCEPT 3AW....cannot stand to listen to the juvenile, immature Rex Hunt..he's a disgrace the way he carries on

Being in a regional area, ABC grandstand. Nothing better to turn down Bruce and the doushbags and turning the radio up

15 - Triple M.

My iRiver only has an FM Tuner so its a choice between Triple M or K-Rock (are there anyother FM stations that have the footy?)
Triple M are so much more professional and usually commentate from a neutral view. Although when Geelong are getting flogged I usually flick over to K-Rock as they either try and make their fellow Geelong supporter see the upside or get just as angry as me (which is good because it reassures me that I'm not the only one.)

SEN - I used to find Rex Hunt amusing in short bursts but cannot stand his call these days. MMM get off on their own 'entertainment' approach - that is 'entertaining' each other!

39 and i'm a bit of a channel surfer radio wise. Like Walls and Sheahan's talk on 3AW before the game, but am over Rex, and his talkback is inane. SEN is excellent with their after hours footy talkback and 'Finey's Final Siren. K-Rock is pretty good, and i like their parochialism, after all we all barrack for the Cats surely!!

SEN is usually my first choice. Like their commentators and style (generally anyway). Listening to Liam and Brownless for the Richmond game was pure gold.

ABC is second. Some of the commentators wear a bit thin (eg David Parkin).

Can't stand Rex. I was actually at the game once listening to Rex's commentary and I still didn't have a clue who he was referring to at the time.

Can't still Triple M but will take it if I have to. BT and Brayshaw in particular go for the same tired old cliches every week (if I never hear "prune" or "big dukes" again I'll die a happy man). The Dan Murphy thing wears thin too. The Chief is OK as long as the Hawks aren't playing.

Have only listened to K-Rock once - it was OK.

Old enough to know better

not like i am trying to pick u up.....was just seein if certain stations attract different ages.

b4 this poll type arrangement thing i did, i thought 774 was for the older type who just like listening to the game, 3AW was for the people who like to not understand what their listening to (ala rex's nicknames for every single player), sen...didnt know who their market was, and MMM for the people who like to hear the game and a bit of hume at the same time...

after all this, i dont know if my opinions have changed at all......

More like 3AW for those who do understand what their listening to.

Ahaha top call mate! 17 - I listen to K-Rock but prefer SEN. just listen to K-Rock coz i listen to it on the net rather than the radio.

Age 31.
Living interstate for last 8 years (Nt and now Qld) only choice is 774, which we usually get via ABC local radio. Can't beat an afternoon of Grandstand. Sometimes the National Indigenous Radio Network has a decent call, especially in Qld where finding any call of the game can be hard, lots of bum sniffers up this way! Anyway, do have fond memories of Rexy carrying on etc., haven't heard for years and may be wearign a bit thin, and the others, well, can't stand commercials.
