Reports from Eddie indicate he would be suspended for 5 games . I think he should get 6 games plus a substantial fine . Reason : he did not self report and the AFL must show that homophobic abuse must be eliminated from the AFL completely. To do this , I advocate an increasing scale of suspensions until players are suspended for the entire year for such offences . This will stop this type of abuse from our games very quickly .
