Also remember David Clarke from Geelong helped us win the preliminary final in 1982 but missed the cut for grand final team because Wayne Johnston had to come back in from his 2 week suspension.

Clarke & Marchesani both very unlucky to miss the '82 GF. Both were excellent in that PF. Parkin admitted after the GF that they had erred in picking Klomp on the basis of the weather forecast, particularly after Ditchburn went down early, leaving us a forward short.

Nah Mil's debut was a memorable one for all the wrong reasons, it was round 1 of 86 and he ruptured his ACL and missed 12 months of footy, we also lost to the Hawks out at Waverley.
