I agree. I just think one set of riots could be a lot worse than the other, depending on who wins.
possibly. Both sides have many people that are ****ed in the head with idiotic ideologies

I don't really understand how people pick a side (left or right) and stick that way with such passion (and in most cases anger).
100%. I also don't understand how so many people who follow politics are incapable of separating individual issues from their (left/right) position, especially in Australia where both major parties are (relatively) centrist.

This spins me out the most.

I identify as right wing therefore I needs to be against same sex marriage, abortion ext

or I identify as left wing so therefore I must learn to use all 600+ pronouns correctly, I want all refugees welcome ext

I just don't know why a lot of people feel so attached to their side that they can't agree with differing sides on differing issues

Basically same s**t as religion isn't it? im/mines right yours is wrong or supporting different teams in sport more so EPL.
Can someone explain how Biden got those 120k votes to nothing or whatever happened? Did they just add Biden then Trumps later or how's that all work?

This should help explain it, also explains why Trump was calling for them to stop counting the votes on the first night.

Delays in reporting mail in votes/certain booths which are heavily for Biden is my understanding. Happens in Aus too with certain regions within electorates, down to specific voting booths, going hugely one way or the other. When those votes get added to the tally can sway things a lot one way or the other.

cheers I get that but I don't get how Trump didn't get 1 single vote while Biden went up over 100k.

could understand that if Trump got a few votes but from what I seen he didn't get a single vote when they added to the tally. I thought maybe they added Bidens votes then Trumps but didn't look like it. Americas ****ed either way so can't wait for the brain dead campaigners to destroy others s**t for the next while

All this nonsense in the us is just serving as a reminder of how lucky we are in Australia to have fair and unbiased elections (mostly). We're so different to the us in the sense that we are free to vote for whoever without criticism, it seems as if in the states you're either red or blue and you have to agree with every policy of that side and that there is a stigma if you swap sides. Whereas here, you vote for the local member whose policies you like the most, not whatever party they represent.

yeah it's swell, how many prime ministers have we had over the last 15 years that haven't been elected by the people?

Yeah it's not good to have such a cultural division in the country at this time and then have such a close election where the president starts claiming corruption against him

It's only going to fuel the fire that is getting close to tipping point

I know what you are talking about.

Apparently there was a glitch and it was a simple data entry error that was quickly corrected (convenient excuse maybe?)

Lol a fair few too many. But still better than being stuck with a bad one for 4 years.

wtf is the media gonna talk about for the next 4 years if Trump doesn't win? I'm not sure what Trump has actually done that's been that bad in the 4 years. blokes been an easy target. Still waiting for WW3 that was going to happen 4 years ago.

I think the thing with Trump is that it's not one big bad thing/scandal or whatever. It's the fact that there is always something every day, a tweet, his tax, some racist/sexist thing, the wall, North Korea, China. There is always something the media can cover and because you see it on the news every day, the really bad things just seem normal. Imagine if Obama insulted Kim Jong Un like Trump, then ww3 would break out, it's just what is expected form big trumpy.

This. And he plays to enflame the media/his opponents with comments on Latino migrants, Charlottesville, BLM etc.

He's really a symptom rather than the biggest problem America has. Biden is far from the socialist Republicans make him out to be, so for the poor and disadvantaged, etc, I can't see a great deal changing other than a more palatable voice saying 'IDGAF about you'.

The bolded is the most important aspect.

With regards to the latinos he actually increased in votes with the latinos. I was listening to a podcast a week back about a Cuban doctor who lives in Florida and the reasons why he was voting for Trump. He said Trump might make off the cuff comments that the democrats use to paint him as a racists but he didn't care about words, he only cared about policies. And in his opinion looking at the Trump policies in regards to the latino population they disadvantaged them less than the policies of Obama, therefore he was voting trump and encouraging all Latinos to follow him.

Personally I have no ******* idea of these policies he was talking about but I found it interesting that a well educated latino guy looking through the policies of Trump v the democrats and could see that Trump was going to be better for them.

The Latin vote is interesting as it is very diverse depending on when and from where folks came to the USA. Ex-Cubans/Venezuelans who fled Castro/Chavez are much more right/Republican leaning. Ex-Guatemalans or Mexicans might be more sympathetic to Dems.
Dems probably assumed that given all the s**t Trump's said the minorities would vote for them by default, but they're much more diverse than that.

So, went to Werribee mansion to meet a few friends today and was great. But on the way home ‘the heat is on’ came on the radio And it’s a favourite of the wife.

So now I’m watching Top Gun and just found out that Mrs Crimson knows every word to the entire film. Rip goose.

I drove past Werribee mansion yesterday, I was listening to a podcast so 'The heat is on' did not play

Have you used the smoker yet?

Hi 00Stinger

Yes I have mate. Tried pork ribs, tasted great but were overdone, the same happened with brisket, but I did get caught in traffic and was 30 minutes late to get to them. Add to that it wasn't a whole brisket and a based the cooking time on the meat church guy doing a whole brisket. Have also done some chicken thighs and they were perfect and juicy as hell as was the steak I did.

if you wouldn't mind I'd love to get your cooking method for brisket and pork ribs.

ok so the first thing you need to get to help with the brisket is a meat injector and a meat thermometer

Get yourself a 2kg-2.5kg brisket

Coat it with salt and pepper, nothing else

Then using 1-1.5lts of beef broth, inject the meat all over even distributing the broth

Set the smoker to the lowest setting (off top of my head I think this is around 78 degrees

I normally put my brisket in the smoker at about 10pm of a night time and go to sleep with it on 78 degrees (might show up as smoke temp on the bbq)

I wake at 6am and adjust the temp to 107 degrees

Leave for another couple of hours. Take an internal temp of the meat every hour until the brisket gets to about 73-75 degrees Celsius

Once it does pull the brisket off and wrap it in tin foil or butchers paper (pros and cons for either)

Put the brisket back in for another couple of hours. Take an internal temp check every half an hour to an hour until the brisket in the thickest part gets to about 88 Celsius. Once it does, pull it off

Now keep the brisket in the tin foil and wrap it with a towel. Leave the brisket to rest for at least half an hour, I normally leave it for at least an hour so that the muscles relax

Then carve and eat!

So I normally put the brisket on about 10pm the night before and it is ready to eat by about 2pm the next day

Remember if it is slightly under cooked it is tough and slightly over cooked it is dry.

Now with the pork ribs

Go buy some good ribs from a butcher, I prefer baby back ribs but St Louis style are pretty good too

They key is a good rub, must be something sweet with a little kick to it. There are plenty of recipes on the internet just make sure there is some sugar and paprika in the recipe.

Pat dry the ribs with a paper towel and then apply the rub generously to both sides.

Put the ribs uncovered in the smoker for about two hours at about 90 degrees

Then pull them of, coat them with some bbq sauce. Wrap them in tin foil and put back in the smoker for a further two hours at about 107 degrees

Then pull them off, let them sit in the foil for about 15 minutes. Then serve

Ribs should be about a 4 hour smoke

The Trump meltdown is absolutely delicious. Just about every single world leader has already congratulated Biden, and not a single one of Trump's lawsuits has gained any traction. Even if they do, we're talking dozens of votes not hundreds. The democratic process still works despite whatever old mate says on Twitter.
