XFL is back? That’s cool to see. That’s where the NFL used to trial new rules, yeah? It’d be cool to see an AFL equivalent rather than 1 or 2 clubs getting to trial rules secretly.

I don’t think there was much association between the XFL and NFL. The XFL was owned by Vince McMahon/WWF and NBC. They used less rules because they could, not because it was to trial new rules.
