I'm honestly pretty stunned by what has gone on in the last 24 hours on here. Lynton did tell me that if things continued as they have been going, then he'd leave, but I was really surprised to see what he submitted for NAFLr. It really is strange that he would try this approach again after what went on last year. I have zero doubt that he intended to copy Ando's stuff and I would hope that if he chooses to return then he'd learn from his mistakes, although I think I had the same hopes this time last year when he actually admitted to pinching someone's work.

I don't really have a side here and I think that some posters (including myself) could have acted differently with how we approached someone that felt under attack every time he logged on and contributed to our community (not necessarily when it comes to repeated stealing of others' designs, but more in general). Having said that though, the way that he conducted himself and some of the hateful and insensitive stuff he posted really negates a lot of the sympathy that I had for him he's a young adult that should really be able to make the right decisions about how to conduct themselves on an forum such as this, there are younger posters on here that act in a much more mature manner than he did. I think it is for the best that Grandsun has some time away but I'd be happy to see him back if he made some changes as he's a big part of this community.

Even better, I put a $7 dollar bet on and won back $82.50
On the Suns winning, or on you returning to BigFooty within a week?

I would have thought this was the biggest upset in AFL history; Demetriou was incredibly upset, his tears well and truly flowing, after realising his grand legacy was doomed to failure.

In all honesty as far as biggest upset is concerned, Carlton v Essendon in the '99 prelim wins hands down. Nobody at all expected Carlton to do what they did.

Otherwise "The Miracle on Grass", Brisbane v Geelong Round 13, 2013 is up there.

I think the question is more what makes something an upset? Like aCunningPlan said, Essendons win against Kangas R16 2001 was nothing short of miraculous however it wasn't completely out of the question that they could win (Hindsight is 20/20 :p).

Perhaps it's good enough to determine based on match-day odds?
