i got told not to support Newcastle but i like them

They have rich Saudi owners so they're possibly on their way to becoming a bandwagon team to support, kind of like Man City. It could be worth exploring whether there's another European league you might be interested in supporting a team in. I've found the Bundesliga is just a very nice looking league aesthetically and I'm thinking of starting to follow a team there. Most likely St Pauli who have just been promoted from the 2. Bundesliga and are captained by an Aussie (Jackson Irvine). They have a pretty cool looking identity and align with the left side of politics which is something I find quite cool because you wouldn't expect that from a soccer club. Definitely worth looking into whether you can find a team that suits you though.

I do like newcastle and was keen on them a few years ago would be good to jump on before i can be called a bandwagon fan, thats why i won't support city
