"The AFL decided to only allow game photography to the official AFL photography agency for the 2007.
That agency was GSP, who produce the AFL Record.
All match photography was licensed to them.
They then had the rights to selling all game pics to other media sources who wanted them. Newspapers, websites etc.
The various news agencies suggested that instead of covering football that they would instead send their photographers to the A-League.
So the AFL changed their stance on media rights and other photographers are again allowed to photograph the games."

so does the AFL logo. Probably some image blur colour drift phenomenon thing that graphic designers/photographers can explain

Sort of. I actually believe they have a few there, but they're just hidden via search. I managed to track down a few links via Google but they're still pretty difficult to discover.

Great find. I've found the formula to change the rounds and team names for 2007.
