Just in stop start traffic, for ages, honestly, zoned out thibking about a work thing and tapped hee at about 2 k an hour but her flimsy car had a tiny crack
It doesn't take much. Had two cars in the space of three weeks run up the back of me in a similar sort of circumstance, you feel bad about the other party but you dont want to pay if you arent at fault. The real issue is the way smash repairers and insurers operate, prices seem to be inflated for some reason.

...you are aware at the amount of AFLW players who are gay/bi, yeah?
yes I am well aware... somewhere I read the other night I think it may have been on Facebook, people were appalled with the number of gays at the Opening AFLW match a few weeks ago some even calling it a Flooding of the Gays. There is also quite a few Women's cricketers as well. If anyone wishes to discuss this issue or any other with me I am happy to although only via PM to protect the integrity of this board.

Exactly
I took full responsibility and jumped out the car to apologise.
I was even looking at the road at the time but tiredness+work just got the better of me.

And yes, how it cost me $1 100 (excess cap being under 25) for the tiny crack has me bemused

At your age having anything but openness to homosexuality is appalling

Well nah - it’s a pretty straight forward thing. Simple question - what do you have against people being gay?

That's insane!

I was in a pretty full on smash last year where a bloke went straight through a give way sign and hit my left
Headlight and took off half the bumper, the quote for the overall fix was $1700.
You Being charged over $1100 for a small crack seems excessive to me!

You'd be surprised. I guess it's a thing that comes with maturity and being in and about the real world for some.
Im in Year 10 and have been to 2 high schools. I’d say out of all the guys in my year level at the two high schools I’ve been to 60-90% of them are against homosexuality. For what it’s worth I’ve got nothing against LGBT people.

Probably because they're young and immature. I think once you get past the age of 16 you realise that using "gay" as a pejorative is pretty harmful and unintelligent.

Anyway as much as I'd like to try and convert Lynton to being more open in his views, this isn't the time nor place.

Is "gay" a phrase still?
Certainly was when we would have been growing up but it fell to the wayside quickly

All I know I moved something behind the bumper
Cars aren't my bag

Still, paid now and I will be drinking the $6 pint of Furphy this weekend:(

I wasn't aware homosexuality was an issue.

That’s because 60-90% of 16 year olds are uninformed nuffies

Lynton mate, I'd advise you to stop talking right now. Clearly you're ignorant that people who are gay are still human beings- nobody chooses to be straight or gay, it's just how some people are. They're not subhuman. They're just like everybody else. There is nothing wrong with being gay.

With how important team colours are to AFL clubs, it's not easy to get a good result just by dropping in a rainbow (which could add up to 6 new colours).
What you get here is a LGBT guernsey. Not a "Western Bulldogs support the LGBT community" guernsey.

This is the obvious solution. They actually have the perfect guernsey to work with but they wasted it.

thats one of my points I was trying to say... why on earth would a proud club like the dogs want to strip half of their colours to a society.

One of the examples that made me annoyed was this:
The Melbourne Stars final game for the season vs the Hurricanes which is always 'Rhino Day' to support KP's Save the Rhinos campaign.
$1 from each ticket went to the Save the Rhinos campaign which will then help to save the rhinos.
$2 from each ticket went to to some 'LGBT society- I can't remember the actually name but it was something to do with that'

If they really needed to do this they should have done it vise versa- $2 to rhinos, $1 to gays.

I can see where the money will go to help the Rhinos but can not see where the money would go to help???? What would this society use the money for?

I looked it up and couldn't find a single thing on this alleged 2 dollar donation. Where are you getting this information from?

To emphasise the point that we are a club for everyone regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality and religion.

Just like what Grandsun's club believes. Here's a quote from Gold Coast CEO Mark Evans, "As a club we have always welcomed all cultures and backgrounds with open arms, and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex community is absolutely no different"
