Chargers new logo. Not hard to guess where they'll be next season.

American sports franchises are amusing. LA goes from 0 NFL teams to two in a year.

That run our decision was atrocious
No way it showed he had control of the ball or his gloves didn't hit the stumps first.

Benefit of the doubt to the batsman surely!

Game was epic though

Don't mind the logo, seems a nice upgrade from the previous and also ties in with the iconic Dodgers logo, so I like that, and therefore the team's roots because LA is where the franchise first began. However, I do feel disappointed that a town like San Diego with one team and some very passionate fans, has to move to a big, two team city that as you said, up until last year didn't have any clubs. Weird.

I'm glad that two teams have got to their roots in a way, particularly The Rams. The Chargers however, they only spent a year in LA before moving, so really all the history is in SD.

Did you get on the screen?
Nah. I had to sit on top level which never gets on screen. Plus when I celebrated a 6 I'd celebrate too early before they showed people on the screen.

Rip the Fizz.

Hopefully the Scorchers can avenge your lot when we play the Hurricanes soon.

I got free tickets to the soccer last night and saw a rare Adelaide win. I showed my limited knowledge of the game by asking my friend why the umpire (sic) was holding up a green card - it was yellow apparently:oops:
There are actually green cards being shown in soccer now. I think it's in Italy, or somewhere in southern Europe.

Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else hate when the American sporting teams relocate? Of course, due to the Aussie sporting background we have, we see teams stay in the same location for more than a hundred years, but it frustrates me when teams just move and turn their back on the city.

Did San Diego have a big fanbase? Because no doubt they'll lose them with these kinds of decisions..

Fan base was a little fickle, large numbers are not happy with this move, but many of them just didn't show up to games and are only now venting their anger.

For the team though, they have been asking for a new stadium for years (Qualcomm was built in 1967 and is showing its age) and the local government/citizens have denied them funding (though the amount the owners of the Chargers were asking for was pretty high in comparison to the norm), so the owners got a really good offer to share the new LA Rams stadium with I believe a fair amount of shared revenue from it so it made sense for them to go. SO it was really the cities fault for not providing the team with a reason to stay.

Oh and that new LA logo is apparently only for marketing purposes, even though it has been shown in renderings for their new temporary home at the StubHub Center (meaning that it is possible that the amount of negative feedback and mocking of it made them change their minds on its future use).

I dont know much about soccer, but theyve been a part of hockey for quite some time now. Green card= warning or 2 mins off on the bench, 2 Greens= 1 Yellow= 15 mins, 2 yellows= 1 red= off for the rest of the game (depending on where you play, also up to a tribunal)
