They're still a good chance I think. Teams have form slumps but there's 2 weeks for them to reset and regroup for their first final (which looks to be against the bombers) so they are a good chance to smash them. No more than 3 weeks ago people were writing Collingwood off and now we are sitting in a good position for finals, but basically what I'm saying is that Finals is a whole different game, and it's whoever catches form when it matters, is the one who wins.

The only other team I like in the finals is West Coast so if we drop out I'll be jumping on the bandwagon...

Wouldn't be too quick to say that. This year has had a host of interesting results.
Brisbane lost to Carlton, enough said (though the Teague effect might have helped this get along)...

West Coast won’t make the grand final IMO. Probably the worst of the five teams in the top five based on current form and I don’t think you can just “turn it on” when you’d like to.
Maybe Nic Nat will have a solid impact on return but he needs to stay fit.

I’ve always felt like West Coast and Adelaide are almost sister clubs for the reasons you’ve provided.
Came into the league as the state representative side from a strong standalone footy league, wearing essentially state colours that are quite similar, early premiership success, rival younger port based team and a bird mascot.

There's not really anyone for me to follow during this final series. I guess the closest would be Brisbane: underdog, non-Victorian, no recent premierships. Fortunately, at least for the next 2 weeks, Port are in the SANFL finals (playing the Crows on Saturday) - prison bars take pride of place!
