Not quite AFL 98 but I remember playing AFL 2003 against a mate and grabbing it out the ruck with Primus running to 50 and bombing goal after goal after goal. By half time the score was like 200 points to 7.

Haha 98 I remember my mate having a 50m penalty shot at the goal square, as long as you ran quick with someone like Aka you could run in between the kicker and the mark and force endless penalties and they could never take the shot lol

I don’t think FT should have commented on or critisized Lucifer’s posting pattern, it has just stirred him up. Lucifer should be able to post where he likes.
However, Lucifer didn’t need to go around abusing everyone thereafter.

Aren’t we meant to be open to new posters and give them a chance when they roam the boards?

FJGD has a very friendly, encouraging, accepting culture which is certainly not indicative of BigFooty as a whole, which is generally very combative.

I initially read LL's comment as a weird unnecessary dig, and it's not the first or last time we've had a blow in from elsewhere on the forum come in with that sort of main-board combative posting style.

Both parties have had a chance to explain themselves and have apologised, which is a good result. I'd prefer that as a board we continue to resist non-constructive feedback from people who haven't established themselves on the board. We are very welcoming when people are gracious. We'll continue to be, but people have to adapt to the positive culture here.
