I'm definitely a paint person lol.

It's annoying having all these ideas in my head but when I get a pen and draw it looks like I just graduated kindergarten.

Design tutorials. I dunno if you have had a look at these? There is also a template resource thread that is pinned at the top of the board.

As for transfering ideas to designs, I generally just open PS and get stuck in and just edit it as I go along however a couple in the past for big comps like NAFL I drew my clubs design 'history' by hand on a piece of paper and once that was done I got stuck in to designing on the computer (Im not a good artist)

This post just made me think, does FJGD have a Mount Rushmore of posters who've done AFL designs? You did the Crows Gather Round jumper, FT fixed up the Freo chevrons in Sekem's first season, chibimatty did the St Kilda stickman jumper but I can't think of a 4th. Cody_ came second in the Hawthorn clash jumper vote a couple years back and Mero came second for Gold Coast and St Kilda's clash jumper votes but I'm wondering if there's a 4th person who I'm forgetting.
