You mean the stupid magnet bands that were meant to help majorly with balance .Are Fitbits those new bracelet things that keep being advertised?
The ever happened to power bands? Does anyone still use them?
Kinda like the Zoom?
Like Brycey I've been hitting the gym lately a fair bit to get myself in shape. Out of my family I'm the biggest of my siblings, pretty body conscious actually, and I've been doing it more for my own self confidence and the like. I just want to be happy with myself. Now you've mentioned it though, I'd probably pick up footy again, haven't played since under 13's but I would love a crack.is anyone here actually still playing football?
or at least in good enough shape to play out a game?
What are they like? I'd love one if I can figure out how to work it into my exercise regime. I'm not even full bottle on what the thing does though. More research is needed me thinks..Its nothing drastic. From memory I limit my intake to 2200 calories a day, exercising every day Im not at uni (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) for 45 mins a routine. I bought a Fitbit for Christmas so thats helped me stick to my goals big time, and with some great results so far

Yeah that, a friend from school had one about 5 years ago. Was going crazy for it.You mean the stupid magnet bands that were meant to help majorly with balance .
Sorry dude, 24975. But we did get to 1000 pagesPost 25,000.
You are making my point.I don't understand.
Shit. One more page. It on, bitch.Sorry dude, 24975. But we did get to 1000 pages
It's seriously just called the Microsoft Band, easy to remember I suppose.I like the look of the Microsoft band (name?), but it's US only at the moment as far as I'm aware.
It was actually called the Zune.. But good try.You are making my point.
The fact you don't know what the Microsoft version is called is may he because it hasn't been successful. In this, the Zoom was Microsoft's competitor to Apple's iPod, which no one has heard of.

Like I said to NM, they're pretty good to keep a track of what you do. As for fitting them into daily routines and exercises, they do it themselves. Just wear it as a watch and go from there.Like Brycey I've been hitting the gym lately a fair bit to get myself in shape. I'm three weeks into a muscle building program at my local gym. It's killer, so I've only been going twice a week, but I'm gonna start going 3 or 4 times a week if I can fit it around uni and work.

* facepalm *It was actually called the Zune.. But good try.![]()
there's one out there that a mate has, that he reckons is waaaaay better than the fitbit, but i can't remember what it's called.I love it to be honest, it syncs to my phone via bluetooth (I have the Charge variety) so I can be notified when I get a call as well as track steps taken, calories burned, distance traveled, and flights of stairs climbed. It can also set silent vibration alarms.
Essentially, the Fitbit is one of the top of the market products, but well worth the cost.
Which model do you have?Like I said to NM, they're pretty good to keep a track of what you do. As for fitting them into daily routines and exercises, they do it themselves. Just wear it as a watch and go from there.
Actually, if anyone is interested, I have a weigh-in tomorrow. I might post how Ive gone since Christmas (when I started exercising majorly)
There was a girl that tried to convince me it was pronounced "palmface". Stupidest argument ever IYAM.* facepalm *
On my part.
TBH eating well and doing consistent pushups and crunches, in variations of the two, is enough for you to depart from a totally skinny frame. It's seriously just called the Microsoft Band, easy to remember I suppose.
It's surprising to see so many people who have trouble with push-ups, I've always found them fairly easy and I'm a pretty thin, I constantly get asked if I'm on crack or something. So, I'm trying to fix that up to the best of my ability but the workout side of things is very difficult with no gym anywhere near me so I have to make do with what I've got.
Those magnet band things are a pile of shite. Biggest money scam ever.
There was a kid in my class who swore he had a special band cos it had some magic liquid crap in the band as well that increased its "power". Turns out it was just a legit $60 one from Rebel and did nothing special in any case.Yeah that, a friend from school had one about 5 years ago. Was going crazy for it.

At least they could have helped with seasickness![]()
Planks as well.TBH eating well and doing consistent pushups and crunches, in variations of the two, is enough for you to depart from a totally skinny frame.
Holy shit, I never considered a smartwatch..there's one out there that a mate has, that he reckons is waaaaay better than the fitbit, but i can't remember what it's called.
i personally have a pebble smart watch, which does everything a Fitbit does, but less extreme, like if you want all that you need endomondo (or an equivalent) if not, you need a bunch of other apps that do it all individually.
the only issue i have with it so far is you can't run apps in the background, so say for example, i was using a pedometer, and i wanted to check a timer, the pedometer would stop counting until i'm back in it
