Hawthorn have been super impressive on the whole for a good 10 years, this jumper is such a disappointment coming from such a great, traditional club.

We were quite poor from 2002-2006.

Only since Clarkson's youngens started hitting the straps in 2007, we've been competitive. 2009 was a write off & shaun burgoyne's debut/a rd 22 win vs Collingwood were the only good things to come out of 2010.

in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 we had a team capable of winning a flag.

Clarkson's transformation of epic proportions has been straight-up insulted by Adidas and their crappy 2015 trio of Hawthorn guernseys.

Hawthorn approached you to be the club historian yet?

A measly 10,000 showed up to Hawks v Port (premiers elect) in 2004 at the MCG, never 4get. This sort of thing is why 'bandwagon' calls at Port are a bit annoying. Literally everyone has them.

Anyway, Hawks are basically the template for how to build a modern footy club. Based on poached Port coaches of Clarkson and Russell of course

Andrew Russell is one of my Dad's best mates. Quality bloke. Him and Clarkson have worked in tandem to create a powerhouse sporting corporation from virtually the ground up. Dunstall/Ian Dicker deserve mentions as well.

From when my babysitter cancelled and I was taken to the very loud merger meeting as a two year old, to now, my love for Hawthorn hasn't changed. But I've never been more proud of something I love as I am about Hawf now.

Believe me, I get punch-wall angry when people merely suggest the notion of me being a bandwagoner. Hell, in my opinion Bandwagonerism is completely exaggerated in Footy terms. There's hardly even a scene, don't let it get to your head.

I joined after lurking in the off season, pretty much right after the demo job of Melbourne at the G.
