Who the hell is 360?

And the DT league sounds like a goer, I'll post the details next week.

That wiki page just had the top 3 posted prematurely haha, be funny if he got it wrong. 360 is a poor excuse for a person and apparently he raps on occasion. I've never done DT before, I might jump on board.

Hes not as bad as Illy. Surely not?

No We Found Love? I was harsh towards my beliefs of what Triple J listeners liked. For that I do not apologise.......Pretty rubbish list tbh. Apart from the Black Keys at 2, thats fair enough.

Oh and any of my fellow fashion obsessed Melburnians should check out the new Topshop at the Jam Factory... good stuff, pretty cheap too.
Don't worry about it.

Keep walking down the street and then go into American Apparel.

It's more expensive, but the clothes are classier, and the quality much better. Some garments from Topman are definitely good looking, and some of the fits are nice, but the material and stitching is really thin. Plus they make those white t-shirts with lame graphics all over them. I can see Topman Australia becoming one for the Jay Jays and high socks crowd.

Hurry Up, We're Dreaming isn't M83s best? I found it pretty damn good. Was pretty stoked when Midnight City was iTunes' video of the week. Have you heard Justice? Another French electro-new wave sync type group. Their first album was better than this year's.....There was a group from Fremantle, erm, San Cisco. They had a decent song called Awkward, surprised to see that hasn't charted. EDIT: Just as I type.....
Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is a very good record. "Intro" is spectacular, as is "Midnight City" and a cluster of others. Yet double albums, no matter how well executed, are a total drag. See Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness – one of the best albums of the 1990s, packed with majestic songs, but it's basically impossible to fully digest. Hurry Up, We're Dreaming suffers the exact same fate. And I'm not sure if Anthony Gonzalez is talented enough to do something so grandiose.

Listen to Saturdays = Youth (with a single, "Kim & Jessie", probably as good as "Midnight City"). It's pretty luscious. If you're into something a little more challenging and less immediate, give Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts a listen. It's almost all instrumental. It's probably the most shoegaze-inspired record by M83. Some of the soundscapes are simply inspiring. Highly atmospheric and dense as well.

San Cisco did chart. And that song was not decent. It was lame. Australian bands have this fascination with forming bands on hype already gone. The twee revival came and went. Then, in 2011, they're so backward they attempt to bring it back? Lame. "Awkward" centres around a vocal hook so cliched, it should be barred from music. It doesn't even have a structure. There's no real chorus nor any verse. I hate them and their faux-hipster songs.

Meh. You're quite the hipster yourself. I have much to learn ;). To be honest, I'd kill to have been my age in the 1980s. Such a good emerging scene then with new wave and the likes. And the clothing!

I've always wished that I was born in 1950, so I could have my teenage years in the 60s, music, fashion, just the culture I love... life is too mundane these days, everything that you feel could be known is known, you know what's on the other side of town because getting there is so simple. Oh well, I still dress like I'm from the 60s anyway :p

Sex pistols beats all this "music".

Hottest 100 seems pretty cold.

Looking back on it you're right, it was an amazing game but as an 8 year old I was less than thrilled. I'd also add the Brisbane v Saints game from 2004 and the draw *shudders* to the list of those memorable games.

Without a doubt one of the absolute classics of the modern era (without being too biased). As a 10 year old myself probably didn't properly appreciate either, although I do remember the atmosphere being unlike anything else I've ever experienced at AAMI. Both teams just had so much to play for, St Kilda obviously having done nothing for 50 years and Port after all those years of 'choking' finally making their first GF and as a result premiership. Remember the G-Train kicking his 100th goal in that match too. And Wangas having just 2 touches up until 3/4 time then being the difference by slotting 3 in the final quarter. There was just a bit of everything.
As I said, three of the best games I've witnessed off the top of my head are that and the two WC v Sydney GFs. With a bit more thought the draw is certainly up there (I own the 3D version on Blu Ray), as are any of the Port/Brisbane/St.Kilda and WC/Sydney games of their respective eras, the 05 Sydney/Geelong Prelim (where Nick Davis kicked the winner with 3 seconds to go or something) and also I remember the Port/WC 07 semi was pretty good (in terms of games I've attended). Of course I'm sure there's plenty more I've forgotten about. Oh, the Port vs Geelong game in 07 where Cassisi kicked the winner with the last kick of the day at Skilled was amazing too ;)

I've got a question for the random chat thread. I'm looking at starting a new collecting project and what I'd like to do is get a replica guernsey of each team in the three big state leagues (though I wouldn't knock back a PI if I stumbled across one). What I'd like to know is why are the replica WAFL guernseys for sale from the club websites so crap? Just the WAFL logo and the club logo, with no sponsors. They look like those cheap AFL knockoffs you can buy from K-Mart. Is there anywhere you can get a decent WAFL replica with all the sponsors?

Not sure how 'accurate' a lot of the SANFL replicas are either. Having looked at the Prison Bar replicas, one of which I am still owed for Christmas, I don't think it's possible to get one with sponsors anymore. I've seen em around the place before but the current available ones are cleanskin. Still look pretty good imo but I'm not sure how much success you'll have. Haven't bothered to suss out any other teams but I'm pretty sure a lot of teams are also manufactured by the same company as us, JAX.

How many of you lads are in to Dream Team? With it opening next week, I thought I'd start a league for this board. Anybody interested?

Supercoach >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dreamteam but I still play both. Just take my SC a bit more seriously (have a really competitive league going on with a few mates). Watch out though, in the top 1% for DT most of this year and top 3% most of the year in SC. Anyone done better than that?

Regardless of who anyone is, if 360 is in the top 3 I will get rid of my iPod.

Usually don't like much rap/hip hop but I reckon his stuff's pretty good. His battle with Kerser was awesome, watched it 3 or 4 times :o

On a different note, had the best Australia Day in a long time with one of my best mates at the cricket :thumbsu: Most of my mates were going to the beach to get pissed but f*ck that shit, both the beach and drinking are overrated. Over both so much atm, I'd rather go to the beach with a fishing rod than a pair of boardies and a towel. Too hot, too crowded on a day like today. Enjoyed the cricket so much more :) Awesome crowd of 35,000 and overall a really good days play too. Pretty warm in the front row seats but I prefer the view from there. Highlight was definitely when Siddle was on a hat-trick and despite the fact he's an Indian, Kohli's ton was pretty impressive too. With Punter and Pup in bat should be able to make a good score by lunch tomorrow and declare with a lead of around 500

Watching the tennis now, also pretty keen for tomorrow's womens final :thumbsu: My eyes definitely are too, just about the best result possible ;) I'm personally a Sharapova man though :p

Scoring's 100x better ;) Scored on like 20 things instead of about 6, therefore being more accurate and consistent. More people play it too which is saying something :p

Wouldn't mind seeing the 3D version, but I was at the game so it doesn't really bother me whether I get my hands on a 3DTV. :D

Watched the 1st and 4th quarters I think, pretty good actually. Just a shame they don't film the games in 3D anymore :( Too expensive apparently.
Really? That's awesome. I went to the 07 one :o Couldn't get two different GFs

Damn, it would've been less than great in '07. I was lucky enough to also to go the '09 and 10 replay, but even though the result wasn't what I wanted the experience is sick.

Who the hell is 360?
He is the person responsible for bringing metros in Aus Hip Hop :thumbsd:

He is a pretty bad rapper, however hes battles are pretty funny and Illy ins't that bad.

Mantra and Horrorshow should of been in the hottest 100 but 99% of use wouldn't know who they are :(

Yeah the Magpies merchandise from the AFL website is pretty much laughable, how cheap everything looks. But most (if not all) of the other clubs who do sell guernseys from their SANFL site have adequate replicas available.

And so on...
