Just got back from my Year 12 retreat this afternoon where I went to Safety Beach for three days. Really enjoyed it and a great experience. Went without the internet and my phone for those three days too, I come back and there's 39 new subscribed threads on BF, Jurrah's in jail and some Kony bloke has been on the news.

I find it absolutely amazing how much you can miss in such little time just by being away from the internet.

No nothing like that, it was supposed to be a short 16km walk on the day but our leaders got us lost and we had to bush bashing (I know) for about 6 hours and we didn't think that we would make it out before dark. Eventually after just jumping and throwing each other to try and make it easier for the slower guys, we finally found the dirt track. after hours of hard work in 40 degree heat it was incredible that something as simple as a track would completely lift our spirits for the rest of Venture.

The people who went to camp this year just returned yesterday. And most of them said it was really boring!!!!! Lucky me.
I think they went to Echuca.
